SOLVED: can’t access my saved families on Sims 3

When I open the game it instantly goes to the new game set up rather than the usual opening screen. I was looking through the files and realised I don’t have the “LoadOption.ini” so I don’t know if it has anything to do with that or something else? I cannot find “LoadOption” anywhere in my files either and it’s not in my recycle bin.
