I recently reinstalled my Sims game and Sims ambitions expansion pack... Now I am missing careers and items like the make over station, the invention station and the sculpture station. Any idea how I can fix this?

It is possible that during installation, some files became corrupted. Your best bet currently would be to uninstall all of the files, then re-install them. Prior to this, please check you have the required amount of disk space available on your drive.
