Spell Casting?

I made a sim that is a wizard, however I don't know how to cast spells or learn magic or anything. I tried to look it up but I couldn't find anything. Probably because it is such a new game.

ok so you have to play with magic until you get the option to do a spell, when i click on my sims i can now hit conjure apple and then do you just keep doing spells until you can do them on sims.

He should have the option to practice some in the beginning. Not sure what it's called right now but you should get it when you self-click on the Sim.
Do you see the magic bar ?
