NewYorkgrits What antivirus do you use? Are you running some kind of cleaner app that deletes temporary files? What kind of install is this: EA App, disc, Steam, mixed; and do you have multiple copies of Sims 3 registered to your account? Have you ever had an EA Play subscription, and if so, could you have added Sims 3 through that (even if you had your own copy) at any point?

I use McAfee, but Sims has never had an issue with it. I don't use a cleaner app, but clear cache files myself after each session. I bought my game directly from Origin and some expansions through EA app. I only have the one Sims 3 account, which is also my Sims 4 account. I've never had EA Play. Hope that helps. I'm about to try and reinstall the worlds and content again.
