@linaermegasej Honestly, reading your dxdiag, I'm surprised that you're even able to play on this computer. You have enough RAM, but your processor and graphics cards are both significantly below recommendations for TS3 and the packs you have installed. Your processor probably has to turbo constantly just to run the game, which can't be good for it. Your graphics card is integrated and quite weak. Pets and Seasons really do require a strong dedicated card. Trying to run TS3 on this computer could easily put enough stress on its hardware to shorten its life.
It should also be noted that you have very little free storage. With only a 128 GB hard drive, you'll be short on space no matter what you do, but 17 GB free isn't nearly enough for Windows 10 to function properly. It really needs at least 35 GB free at all times, or you'll see a variety of issues even without playing TS3.
All this is a long way of saying that your travel transition problems could easily be due to your hardware and/or lack of free storage, rather than anything breaking in-game. Travel requires more resources than regular gameplay—the game has to load the new vacation world and all its inhabitants while the homeworld's data is still in play. While the other family you tried could travel, the sim you've been playing with has accumulated more data, and travel transitions invloving this sim will demand more of the game engine. Even if you started fresh with a new family, sooner or later the transition would start to break. You might send your sims on vacation only to have them unable to return home.
If you really want to keep playing on this computer, you'll need to keep the game's demands as low as possible. All of the interventions I mentioned can help, although you might want to turn graphics back up a bit during regular gameplay. (But keep water and high detail lots low, as they're the most demanding options.) You can find other tips for better performance here, although I don't know how much they'll help:

You are playing on a ZenBook. These are super ultra-lightweight devices made for portability, and were in the beginning considered a worthy competitor to the MacBook Air except of course the Zens run Windows. The lower end ones such as the one you have are intended for web surfing, email and other forms of staying in contact, video streaming, and very light office/school type tasks. They are actually a very cool, well made range of laptops and not cheap, I know several who own them. But they are not in any way made for graphics-intensive gaming. If you force TS3 on this one with or without the performance enhancing tips from us at NRaas or elsewhere, you run the very real risk of burning it out in many ways. Its lack of processor power in particular cannot be overcome.
There are upper end ZenBooks with stronger components that could give TS3 a run for its money but they tend to cost well over $1,800 USD, prices will be higher in other countries, because it takes much more technology to improve the components while keeping the overall weight of the device so low. There are some players with mid-range Zens on the EA forums, so slightly less expensive than the Pro versions, and they cannot run the heavier hitting EPs at all plus they also keep running into limitations that users on heavier systems with higher specs would likely never see.
Even if you had success playing on this laptop before introducing WA to it, I would have to strongly recommend not running the game on this one at all as it will likely shorten its overall usable lifespan considerably if pushed too hard. And you really need to maintain more like 35 GB of free space on that drive to prevent Windows itself and other programs from continuously malfunctioning, you have less than half of that free right now.
