Stuck In the mud sim.

I accidently saved my sims3 game when one of my sims were stuck in an object (a stage in a community lot) 

Also occaisonaly my horse (sims3 pets) gets inside the house or gets stuck half way through the walls.

How do I fix this???

    1. Open the cheat console with ctl-shift-c
    2. Type resetsim firstname lastname (first and lastname being the name of the Sim or pet)

    You're not changing their name, you're resetting them which puts them in a safe place.

    How does changing their names fix not being able to move??

    You're not changing their name, you're resetting them which puts them in a safe place.

    I took notice of how many squares from edges of community lot then went into edit town mode and picked the community lot that sim couldn't get out of. Then I levelled the terrain tool and built steps where sim usually would have stood in game, and then he found his way out of the community lot and went home.
