stuff pack 70s 80s 90s won't download/install from EA App

I got a new laptop, an Asus Tuf Gaming A15. I've installed the EA app and downloaded the games, although all my games were originally installed through Origin or downloaded from Instant Gaming. The app just stops downloading on the 70s 80s 90s stuff pack, says it's encountered a problem, and that's that. It comes up with the same error every time I try. Which means I can't reinstall any saved games which used the stuff pack items. I have checked that net framework is installed and ticked.
