Taking forever to save/won't save
My sims 3 game won't save, when I go to click save from the options menu, it brings up the saving screen, and then takes 2-3 hours to save before I give up and quit. Even if I go into task manager it...

Other than that I'm not really sure. I'm sure though that someone else can help you guys. Just keep on "bumping" the post up if no one seems to see it.

Could you guys post a little info about your systems ?
- What's your Operating System ?
- Processor, Graphic Card, RAM ?
- Does it only happen in exising games or also if you start a new one ?
- If it happens only in older games, how long have you been playing them ?
- Which EP/SPs do you have ?
- Are you using custom content and/or mods ?
- Whatever else you want to share you think important.
Windows 7
Processor Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 @ 2.13GHz, ATI Radeon X1950 GT graphics card, RAM DDR2 2GB
So far I only have one save game. Haven't tested with a new one.
I've been at this game for about 2 months, on and off 2-4 hours at a time. 5th Generation.
EPs Ambitions, Late Night, Generations, Showtime, Seasons, Pets
SPs Master Suite, High End Loft, Town Life.
I am not using any CC or mods (unless Store Content counts)
Try if you have the same issue in a completely new game for trouble shooting purposes.
Just trying to find out if it's the save game or the game itself.
