The screen goes black after playing The Sims 3 for 30 minutes

stivhatten​  Sims 3 doesn't respond well to the player tabbing out in fullscreen mode; this is common for older games and isn't indicative of a larger problem on its own.  If you want to switch to another app, put the game in windowed mode first.  If you're getting a black screen while NOT switching to another app, that's a separate issue.

And yes, the function to delete temp files could easily delete temporary files reporting on Windows errors, so please disable this or at least don't use it until we're done troubleshooting.
