The Sims 3 - Cannot Enter the Family in the World after Selected the Family in the Bar/Menu

Dear Sir / Madam

Problem as the Subject - "The Sims 3 - Cannot Enter the Family in the World after Selected the Family in the Bar/Menu"

I want to play a new family in the world, so I select the new family from "edit the world". After I have selected the family, it will show at the left corner and there is a tick beside it. I have clicked the tick and it turn to grey from blue, but there is no action to move to the seleced family's house.

Please help to fix the problem.
