the sims 3 - missing DLCs

Hello! I have bought data disks many years ago, even from the days when they were bought in boxes. On the EA app, I have that all my DLCs (which I also have registered) have been downloaded. See screenshot 1.

However, when I turn on the game, on The sims 3 launcher, a lot of them don't show up and won't even load when I load the game. (cities, furniture. As if they simply weren't there) I'm playing the game in my language, so I'm sorry that the screenshot is in Czech, but the number shows that I miss a lot of them. (Screenshots 2-3)

In the past my Thesims3.com account has been linked to my origin account and since then it's not working and I'm desperate. I would be grateful if we could find a solution together and I would not lose so much money.

Thank you for your time.

  • Hi there, I am missing dlcs showtime, seasons, island paradise, world adventures and diesel stuff. On the EA app it shows as downloaded but in the launcher I can not see it. Support send me here on the forum, so I really do not know what can I do for it.

@Adelaida1975  In case EA_Solaire isn't back for a couple days (it's almost the weekend, after all), try contacting EA customer support and asking about the status of the product keys for these packs: not only whether they're on your account but whether they're active and valid.

It's possible the keys have been cancelled, particularly if you bought them through a third party.  This is less common with discs but can happen, especially if the discs were bought used.  The packs installing but not showing in the launcher is exactly what happens when the product keys are invalid.

If you bought the discs new, you can take a photo for each missing pack showing the disc, its case, and the product code, and submit them when you request a live chat session.

If you don't get anywhere with support, please let us know.

@puzzlezaddict I bought them a long time ago (maybe about 9 years ago) at a shop. I do not know if it was a third party. But I have them physically. I have all the missing disks and codes with me, so I can show that is mine. I talked with support twice and they send me here to ask on the forum. Should I try it again?

@Adelaida1975  I think you should try again, this time while uploading the photos I described and asking explicitly about the status of the product codes.  Many if not most support reps will simply confirm that an account owns the packs and not look further.  So you have to ask the rep, and sometimes more than once, to take a close look at the status of the codes.

If this particular contact doesn't go well, please do post back.  But I can't really help past that point, and it might take a few days from a reply from EA_Solaire.  So please don't think anyone is leaving you hanging; it's just a question of timing.
