@shamuel9977 The current version of this game is version 1.69. Your game needs to be at version 1.67 then Origin will update the game to version 1.69. Some (all?) of the expansion packs and store items have been updated to work with version 1.69. The version 1.69 update happens through Origin. If you install from disc you will be installing the old DRM of SecuROM and SafeDisc. In 2012 the DRM was changed to Origin because Windows and OS X no longer support SecuROM and SafeDisc. Some (all?) expansion packs will not work with the old DRM. CC from third party vendors is not controlled by EA and old cc may not work with the old DRM and the creator may have to update their creations. If your base game is at version 1.69 (where it should be) all the DLC (expansion packs) should work with the game.

So basically no one can no longer use CC on the Sims 3 anymore period?
Well they are just dead set on us who use their products to just use their products and not invoking any added creative projects.
Thanks i appreciate it!!@shamuel9977 cc should work. But the sims 3 did not come ready for third party cc. Did you create the framework for cc as TS3 does not come prepared for cc but you need to add the framework. You have to create a folder and create a file in that folder. As I don't use a lot of cc I am not an expert. Google Sims 3 cc framework. There is a lot out there that will work.

I have made a Downloads folder as i always been doing for five years, but also you know when i try to upload content from The Sims 3 store
It says it cannot load because my game isn't up to date, thats weird because im at 1.69 there is no more updating???????
