The Sims 3 64-Bit Keeps Crashing on Mac

Can any help me figure out why my sims 3 64-bit keeps crashing? Here are my computer specs: 

macOS Monterey Version 12.5 

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) 

Processor 2.9 GHz Dual-Core Intel i5 

Memory 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3

Graphics Intel Iris Graphic 6100 1536 MB

  • 1qotcb37p81g​  So you can't open the game in the new account even while your computer is online?  If that's the case, I would uninstall it through the EA App, then manually uninstall the App too, like this:

    Reinstall the App, then reinstall Sims 3 to Macintosh HD > Applications > EA Games or somewhere else within Applications.  By that I mean the main Applications folder, not the one in Users > your username.

    okey, took some time but just did all that and.. it crashed again im so over this

  • 1qotcb37p81g​  I haven't suggested changing the graphics settings yet because your game crashes before any significant graphics rendering is done.  But I guess it's worth trying: load to the Main Menu, turn everything down to the minimum, disable Advanced Rendering, enable Object Hiding, put the game into windowed mode (cmd-return) if it isn't already, and quit to desktop.  Then try again to load a save.

    If you can't get to the Main Menu in the new account, you can try it in your original account.

    If that doesn't help either, the only other suggestion I can think of right now is to reinstall macOS.  You can do so without wiping your computer:

    It does take a while though, so I'd start the process when you're about to do something else.
