Don't worry about that, The Sims 3 are fully compatible with Windows 7 and the game runs perfectly on that OS.
I re-installed the drivers and I actually got Sims 3 to work- for only a couple days. I ended up starting a new game and though like before, once I got to a certain point, ie new skills learned etc, crashhhhhhhhhhh......never again will I do Intel graphics or Toshiba for any matter. They still have not answered my question. Although the laptop I have is still running well, I won't be using this for Sims 3 anymore. SO.
