Hey, I'm having an issue on my Mac where I can't install content from my Sims 3 store purchase history page. When I try, it opens the sims 3 launcher and starts downloading as normal, but after that it always gives following error message - "There was an error Downloading Content {0}"
I've talked to a ea customer advisor about this, but unfortunately we weren't able to fix the issue. He advised me to make a post in here, but I don't have much hope tbh.
I've tried to clear cache on the EA app, tried different browsers to access and download content from the Sims 3 store and few other more obscure troubleshooting steps, but nothing has worked so far. If there's any advice or something I could try that has fixed this issue in the past, please let me know. I did unfortunately buy bunch of content (items/worlds) from the Sims 3 store in the past and would love to have them in my game.
I just posted a problem very similar to this. I am also having an issue with this!! instead of downloading the content that i bought, it just keeps re-directing to sign in instead even though i am already signed in. I think EA/Maxis should be made aware of this issue because im sure many more players might be having similar issues with this. They may need to update their website (the sims 3 exchange). It's ridiculous. They can't ignore the issue of hundreds of players purchasing something and not getting access to the items.
