The Sims 3 endless saving!!

Hey hoo all.

I looked for a topic like this, but couldn't find anything. 
I installed Seasons about a month ago, and ever since, I can't save. I try saving in edit town mode, and live mode, save as, but it just gets stuck at the saving screen. The Game  doesn't completely freeze, it just acts like it's still saving (The diamond keeps spinning, like something is happening) and I alt control delete its still reponding. But it goes on for hours and hours, with no result.  ( I've waited 5hours 3mins) 

Could it be the custom content I have? I don't have any mods at all , but I do have a lot of items and cc from the website but its all been good and working fine before seasons. Someone please help I don't want to quit and lose 10 (sim) days!!! Any help is much appreciated
