The Sims 3 Installation error of Add-ons and A serious error in the game

After entering the keys I have downloaded Sims 3 and immediately proceed to downloading add-ons but I have stumbled upon this issue. Once the download on any add on is about to finish I get "Installa...

Anna_Nikolash​  Great, so let me know if you need more help with this or anything else.

And I do think OneDrive was the culprit because it almost always is when the "serious error" shows up.
