iv been playing the sims for 3 years now and i have 14 games for it and i got a new laptop and i got the sims 3 on it but no update yet iv been waiting a year for it so far and i want to play all my sims iv got and i cant with out that update help me plz xxxx
No, Laptops are not upgradable.

Did you download this to your computer: http://akamai.cdn.ea.com/eadownloads/u/f/sims/sims3/patches/TS3_1.67.2.0240xx_update.exe (Use save as and save it to your desktop). Then you'll need to double click on the file you've downloaded. No Origin or launcher involved to update the game.
