Your response was quick and thorough, I really appreciate that and the time you spent typing for me. I already post to Instagram, but my friends want to see what I'm doing with my Sims. I feel you're right about the site, though, that it's barely maintained. They said to me, personally, that they'd never close the Store. But, I still need to know if I can post the game to Instagram with the sound on. I don't want copyright strikes.
I've started a new game on a new computer, so moving files won't matter, because I still can't post. I've recently cleared the cache to Internet Explorer too.
@enchantress6274 Sorry for the very late reply. I wanted to ask around about the policy on posting gameplay to social media (e.g. Instagram), since I wasn't totally sure what the rules are.
One thing you should avoid is posting video that includes a third-party song, even if it's performed in Simlish. This doesn't include all in-game songs: some songs were originals for the game, as is the Build and Buy music. For the radio tracks, you can see the composer and title within the game options—a song with a title in Simlish is original to the game and should be okay to post.
Other than music, you should be fine.
