The Sims 3 Site Won't Let Me Register Or Log In

Hi,

I downloaded the Sims 3 game and a couple expnsion packs awhile ago through Amazon.com. I created an Origin account and dowloaded them to my computer through there. I can play the games just fine. However, on the launcher when it asks for me to log in I can type my information in just fine but the launcher just rejects it without giving me an explanation. Also, when going the The Sims 3 site, I can't register for the Community. When I try to create an account on the site it says that I already have one through Origin, but then won't let me register for the Community. I fill out the registration form and click "sign up" but it just reloads the page without telling me what I did wrong. I would be fine with continuing to play without logging on but I have just dowloaded 'Dragon Valley' from Amazon and it says that I need to download the game through The Sims 3 website and of course, I can't log in or register anything.
