The sims 3 stopped working

I bought the sims 3 a couple of days ago and downloaded it onto origin. When I press play I get a quick pop saying “The sims 3 has stopped working” I contacted multiple EA support members and the solutions they gave me such as:repair game,delete antivirus,delete and reinstalling the game and much much more didn’t work. My PC does meet the requirements. Anyone else have this problem?
