The Sims 3 Target Bonus Content Problems

I bought this game today, and registered it, which the Sims website recognized. Since I bought this game at Target, I got a code for bonus content. Only, when I went to submit it, it said I needed to register my game to use it! I tried re-submitting the serial number on the website, but now that it has been used once it will not recognize it. What do I do?

    Base game shows properly registered on your public myPage.

    Try logging out and back in or use a different browser.

    If that doesn't work, are you redeeming the codes on thesims3.com or somewhere else ?
