The Sims 3 will not launch

i hate the EA app and you cannot talk to anyone that works there. there is not ticket support. there is no action that you can take. your game can randomly stop working and there is literally nothing that you can do. i am literally done buying EA games on PC. they should just launch the games through steam because then the games would work properly. anyone know how to fix this? im so tired of having to spend hours of my time trying to fix a game that i paid money for and the company that is causing all of these problems with their EA app refuses to help me fix the problem. EA deserves a lawsuit. their app breaks your game and they refuse to help you fix it. its virtually a scam and gambling when you buy an game that requires the use of the EA app. 

i own 7 games that require the EA app to play... 3 of them will not launch.
