The Sims Launcher No Longer Updates!! (Origin and EA Download Manager Help!!!!!)

Hi, my sims launcher no longer updates my game ☹️ I've uninstalled and reinstalled origin (Yes, it's given me unable to connect to origin message) and all my expansion packs and even the sims 3. Now it's saying unable to connect to ea download manager. My origin account is easily accessible, and is always online and updates easily. It has all my expansion packs registered. I even tried patching my game,and the articles on this is very unclear or it won't lead me to the correct patch. My firewall is off (so thats not a possibilty) and I tried custom mod stuff a while ago and I deleted it because it gave my sims problems (maybe that could be the problem? but I deleted it) if someone could help I would love that. All I got for christmas was sims supernatural and seasons and I can't enjoy them ☹️:womanmad:
