First, I'd like to say THANK YOU SO MUCH! This was sooooo helpful!
Second, as far as the part where you're supposed to rename the package file? I didn't do that and it worked just fine... when I save it, it just overwrites the file so I didn't have to do any replacing or renaming of files. Just thought I'd mention that in case there was any more confusion about that.
It looks fine that size as long as you crop it long ways, not just resizing and squishing the photo.
