Town wont load after patch update

When the Launch Screen appears I recieve a "Script Error Message" .  I get rid of it then the game proceeds as normal until it reaches the town screen.  The bar loads then stops just before it reaches the tip.  Music and tips continue to play and roll through.  It doesnt matter  which town I try to load the same thing happens.

It doesn't matter if  hit the "yes" or "no" button the results are the same.  This message appeared afte downloading patching updates.  I have been to busy to play the game until recently.  After downloading a world for a challenge I received the update available message. So I updated.  Then the troubles began.  

I have deleated all downloads relating to the custom world and followed other recommendations to the best of my ability.  I have even uninstaled and reinstalled the games and some of the expansions cutting down on the content of the game.  Like one of the other users on this site, the game started once, but after quiting it went back to not starting.   

I have put up with other glitches (freezing and crashing) because i have an old computer and use alot of content.  But not being able to even start the game is another story
