Transferring Sims 3 Expansion Pack to New Account
Hello! First time poster so sorry if I do anything wrong here. I recently tried to redeem a code for The Sims 3 Into the Future on my EA account and it reported it was invalid. I contacted EA and they helped me determine that it was redeemed on an old deactivated account and that I would have to recover the account and transfer ownership of the expansion to my new account. I was able to recover the account and contacted EA again to help with transferring it. They told me that they would get their game team to help look at it for me and also recommended that I make a post here to speed up the process, so here it is!

Sorry for the confusion here. It sounds like you have two accounts that simply need to be merged so you can access everything from one account.
For this, you'll actually need to get back in touch with an advisor, as we aren't able to make any changes to your account via the forums. Fortunately, this is not a bug so that waiting time and other process they mentioned really wouldn't apply.
That will mean you'll need another advisor to get that merge process started however, so feel free to either resume the case from your case history page here, or start a new one to have support take another look at this. Thanks!
