I been trying to install some new CC Like hair,clothes and a how but for 3days now I've been getting this issue.
I've tried even downloading them 1 by 1 and still get the issue.
This started happening once Origin updated and now it's getting really frustraiting.
Try reinstalling Origin or try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps/td-p/714/
You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
All my CC I installed and deleted from the downloads folder and from launch, they will still be in my game if I do this? I just want to be 100% sure.
Also I'm getting errors when I try to get Sims 3 to run when I click play, it does the not respoding thing to.
If you do a factory reset, everything will be gone from your game but it's still there since you're just renaming the folder and you can later add stuff back.
This is just to see if something in your user file is messing up the launcher. If it works with a clean user folder, you start putting your stuff back until you find the guilty party.
You can also make an backup to be extra sure that you don't loose anything.

I went to go try installing new cc after following that post, and it still gives me not responding.
Did you try reinstalling Origin ?
Will I have to reinstall Sims 3 and the EP's if I uninstall and reinstall Origin?
