I have recently bought a new laptop and I have downloaded orgin and installed my base game successfully. However, whenever I try to install an exspansion pack, it tells me that I need to update my base game. So, I click back onto the base game, go to update the game and a pop up appears telling me that the game is "unable to connect to ea download manager". What do I do connect it and get everything sorted? I would be grateful for any help!!

Does it say 1.67 in your launcher now ?

I"ve having the same issue I've trie eveything listed and my game still will not launch?
I am having the same problem. The suggestions to manually update and re-install origin have not fixed the problem and my game is now unplayable as it will not load. These non-answers meant to placate us are not acceptable answers to major problems with your games which need to be fixed. I have paid money to own these games, as have other users, and we are being dismissed without proper solutions to major bugs, including this one.
