Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000014 at address 0x1027f2cb

Hi,

When I click on the installed content it apears a mesage box saying "Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000014 at address 0x1027f2cb. Do you wish to debug it?". It doesn't matter if I click "yes" or "no", the game shuts down when I do click an answer. The thing is that I want to uninstall some things that I installed before because I think they are the reason why my sims are some kind of monsters and my baby girls some kind of a stick, like a looong arm.

This is the boy of my family https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-IU3uMBP0N2A/UUYK5llzDDI/AAAAAAAAAVM/VmQZjPe_vQI/s678/Captura+de+pantalla+2012-12-13+a+las+0.05.40.png

Any idea? Help ):

TY!

Sorry for my english :/

Hello! So I also have this exact same peoblem where my babies are either invisible or look like a stick and all my sims have weird "clothes" on in the shower, "my sims are some kind of monsters and my baby girls some kind of a stick" but i am no where close to a computer geek and i have no idea how to fix it. I read the solution to this question but i do not understand most of it... 0_o any help would be appreciated! once again simple terms for this non-computer geek would be great! :cattongue:

Please help me, I downloaded 2 expansion packs from Amazon and installed them multiple times. I have no other custom content besides one other "world" that I have had for years. Is that the problem? I try to open the game and it immediately shuts down and gives me this error message. I can't even see what's going on in the game and this is so frustrating! What do I do?

  • I know this is an old post, but I also play Sims 3 on mac and had the debug issue and I figured out how to fix it. You go into The Sims 3 files like the post tells you too and make copies of your DCCache and DCBackup. Then delete everything that's in them. After you do that open the launcher, or restart it if it was already open. NOW you can get into the installed content without that annoying debug message. Delete what you suspect is the bad CC. A lot of your good downloads will be missing, just reinstall them. Play game, and taadaa! Worked for me at least.

    Hi there.

Since this is a pretty old thread that hasn't seen any updates for quite a while I went ahead and locked it.

If you need some help with an issue like this please post a new thread when you have the chance.

    Thanks!
