Update error!(Invalid file found)Please help me!!Very Urgent!!

When I was updateing The Sims 3 yesterday night, there was a window telling me "Update error! Invalid file found".

However, I sucessfully updated in my boyfriend's computer.

Both of our computers don't have any mods.

I can't wait anymore because the Sims 3 really sucks!!!

Can someone help me???😕mileymad:

    No, that's the official patch, downloaded from an EA site.

    It just allows you to download it manually instead of through the launcher and the superpatch is just all patches together vs. just the changes form the last one which helps with the invalid file error.

    Yes. I always update that thread with the newest link.
