When I Try Downloading my Sims 3 store patch, it says patched, but it isn't

Okay! this is getting sooooo annoying because I've Googled everything and nothing has come up. I can't find a super patcher, so could you link that in response if you know? 

This is seriously preventing me from downloading pretty much EVERYTHING off of the exchange, and I want to download a cc/ep house and it won't let me! 

When I go into my game and open the launcher and click downloads, it pops up and I click yes, but almost immediately (like one second) later, It says it is done patching, which I'm pretty sure it doesn't patch that quickly, and it keeps popping up when I try to make sure it downloads (which it doesn't...) 

I've already tried removing the "ContentPatch.package" file and It still doesn't work. Do I need to remove the other files to that says "ContentPatch_000...001...002...etc"?

P.S. - I've just recently tried to remove the downloads folder from my "Sims3" Folder. After that, the FIRST time I re-opened the launcher from the game, it asked me again, I said yes, something popped up and started loading. (StorePatchDownload, I presume,) but then stopped mid-way and said Patching Finished. I tried to double check, but of course it didn't work and it asked again, but this time, the download bar I'd seen before wasn't even there.

P.P.S. - I've removed ebc files etc from my catche.

P.P.P.S- lol- Should I clear my catche/backup completely?

Please help me!

-Also, when I download certain things (EVEN FROM THE EXCHANGE) it says it is downloaded, but It doesn't show up in my game. Help?-

    I'm getting the same error. It's most likely the download and not your game.

    let the creator know and ask them to try themselves.

    Is the message still poping up after you said no ?

    Are you trying to install the store patch or the game patch ?

    Content patch is here: documents\electronicarts\theims3\contentpatch and find a file called contentpatch.package. It should be around 7.78 MB in size.

    If you get the message over and over and it's that size, just click on no you don't want the store content patch.

    I'm trying to install the store patch v 2.2 (I haven't played my sims in a while, so thats why I'm downloading it now.)

    Should I delete the ENTIRE content patch folder?

    Will this fix the problem I have for downloading? When I download something, it just says "make sure you have the latest updates" (something like that..)

    What is your base game version right now ?

    Open the launcher and check the number in the lower left corner.

    If you're not at 1.63, please update your game.

    Yeah, just delete the content patch folder if it's not the size mentioned above and then re-open the launcher. It will ask you again but hopefully for the last time.

    EDIT: Do try to be patient with getting an answer. We do this unpaid in our spare time so it can take up to 24 hours to get an answer. If you still don't get an answer after that time, you can bump your thread, trying to add new info.

    I've been updated to 1.63 for a while now, and what file size? 

    I know you guys do this for free, sorry if I come off a little rushed; I've had this problem for too long, and I am excited to get answers. 🙂

    I've deleted the folder, the message screen popped up, I clicked yes, this time it took like 3 seconds and said it was fully patched. I tryed refreshing the page, and the message popped up again. I clicked yes. I installed my house and it said the same thing "please make sure you have all the latest updates and try again; done!" The message popped up again to download the store patch and I clicked yes. I don't know what is wrong with my game. The house isn't working because it has some store content so it won't let me download. Every other cc thing works fine. I'm trying to install the house again...

    Say no. How big is the file ?

    is that a house you downloaded from the exchange ? Did you use save as or download to game ?

    The file is 7,976 KB which is roughly 7.8MB.

    The house isn't from the exchange; it is by MarcusSims91. (From his tumblr/youtube)

    Other houses off the exchange will work because it is all custom content, this house has some items from ep's and most likely store content.

    It is VERY big (around 100mb) but you don't have to keep it in your game. It requires certain mods and thing but you don't need to do them because you are just testing.

    P.S. - The message for needing updates error when I try to download this house has happened before with other items, not just the house.. They eventully worked and were downloaded. I also have a sim from the exchange that says it it downloaded but, when I go into them game it isn't there...
