Will the sims 3 run on this system?

I am looking to purchase a new computer as my laptop cannot run all my Sims 3 and Expansions and I wanted to know if a computer with these specs would work:
Operating System: Microsoft® Windows 8 (64-Bit)

AMD FX 4130 3.8GHz AM3+ CPU
8 GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333 dual channel memory
1 TB SATA-II 3.0Gb/s 7200 RPM HDD
24x DVD±R/±RW dual layer drive
Nvidia Geforce GT 610 1GB PCI Express Graphics
(1 x DVI, 1 x VGA & 1 x HDMI)
Integrated sound card
10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet
Special features: Coolermaster Elite 431 gaming case
2 x 5.25" and 2 x 3.5" external drive bays available
4 x 3.5" internal drive bays available
AMD 760G Chipset Motherboard
2x DDR3 DIMM memory slots (max up to 16GB, no available)
1x PCI-e 1x
1x PCI
8 USB 2.0 (6 x rear, 2 x front)

Much better graphics performance there.  It will handle anything you can add on in Sims 3 itself, and many other current games as well.  Actually, Sims 3 was never a seriously demanding game for graphics, but all of the Geforce "n10" cards are just so very awfully bad!

That GT 610 might as well not be in there, it's so much worse than the current integrated video chips!  However, as long as you pick and choose among the expansions carefully, avoiding those that add to the graphics load, the game will more or less run on that thing.  Personally, I'd go with nothing worse than a GT 630 for this game, assuming it's the only game you will ever want to play on that PC.
