@EA_Cade thanks, I just did! hopefully this bug will be fixed.
The eyelids seems weight painted on the sim face like usual so there is absolutely no reasons for it to not work like it used to be. I even digged into the rig and checked if any data changed, but nothing. So it's probably in the client side and only maxis can do something about it.
Here we go again. No fix and more damages. I am sooooo fed up with the sims right know…
This is devastating for a storyteller. I was so hopeful this patch would finally resolve the issue. Although thankfully my alternate PC hasn’t updated since before lovestruck, so I can still work on my story without my characters looking disturbed. But not all players were as fortunate as me. Please look into this. We’ve waited an eternity for nothing but disappointment.
I'm using an old version of the game because it's just horrible to film my stories with this bug. Apparently they remade the sleeping animations with the eyelids that were changed to eyelashes. Very sad. I just wish the eyes would go back to how they were before the LOVESTUCK update.

@EA_CadeMay we please get an update on this? You have been provided with a very detailed description of the 3 eye issues and how to fix at least 2 of the 3 issues. I miss playing my legacy sims because their faces are distorted now with these bugs. It is frustrating when I try to play with new sims because I cannot get their faces to look right or I think I have them looking good, but then they go to take a nap and their eyes won't close, which just reminds me of how irritated I am that my sims have been disfigured in this way.
Here are the three issues:
1. Eye shape bug
2. Lighter eyelashes with preset eyes bug
3. Eyelids not closing all the way bug
Khlas has provided the details on what needs to be done to fix issues 1 and 3. An update would be most appreciated. Thank you.
It's been another week. Can we please get an update on these eye issues?
Well, another Sims 4 update and none of the three eye issues have been fixed. It's December now. Sadly to say, at this point, I don't think they are gonna fix any of these eye issues. If they were, they would have done it by now due to how critical these issues are. I think the silence we've all seen also tells at all. My ten year Sim story is gone. Well, I guess from the TS4 anyways. I started a new story arc with a different game, and I got a lot of my TS4 characters already transferred. It's different, but it will work. It's a little more adventurous than laid back, that's for sure. I guess it's just time for change. I'll miss TS4. Ten years of memories. It's just sad that it has to end like this. I really don't know why the DEVs just don't want to fix these critical issues.
