[COLLECTION THREAD] Various Text and Translation Errors

In build mode, this masonry wall pattern has "Placeholder name" in it's name.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I've seen it specifically on the notification when the sim gets hired for the detective tv show. It says "Buby" instead of "baby" or "buddy". and then "everyone PLACE a peace officer" instead of "plays". And uses "Its" instead of "it's" which is grammatically correct.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing bad, I'm just annoyed with this.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see correct spelling and grammar from a AAA company.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Just basic spelling errors, that should not have made it to the final version of the game.

if you consult the urban dictionary, Buby seems to be an actual word. I'm not native english speaking so that's all I can go by.

The pop-up that you get for gaining a Good Reputation with the Get Famous pack says that the sim's reputation now "proceeds" them, when it should be that the reputation now "precedes" them.

Hi! I've noticed with the new Holiday pack update that there are two spelling mistakes in the descriptions of build mode items. The first is for the "Festive Ceiling Light" where "celebrate then to" should actually be "celebrate than to", and the second in the "Glass, Wax, and Wood" where "space, complimented by" should be "space, complemented by". Attached are just screenshots of the descriptions. Thanks!

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? C&D, City, Famous, Get to Work, Get Together, Seasons, Dine Out, Jungle, Outdoor Retreat, Parenthood, Cool Kitchen, Movie Hangout, Spooky Stuff.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Random event occurred. Male sim in level 6 of the Social Media career, got a career/get famous popup. Don't have a screenshot of the original popup but it says something like "You're watching a streamer when they announce they are finishing their stream and going to raid another stream. People watching can roll and if they get the number, the streamer will promote them." You get a choice to roll, which says you "will gain fame and followers and get a promotion" or choose to not roll and "you will continue as normal". 

What happens when the bug occurs? In the random event text for "One in a million", it references the sim as both male and female, saying "she" and "his" alternatively (no screenshot). The notification after you have made a choice (attached) also incorrectly references both genders saying both "she" and "him/his" despite the sim being male. 
What do you expect to see? Correct gender pronouns based off sim the event involves.

Hello, i've noticed a few errors, so I hope this is still the active thread.

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? GF, C&D, CL, GT, SV, JA, Parenthood, DO, MFP, LD, VG, KR, RG, MH

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Give a Sim the Unflirty trait. Click on someone -> Romance -> view options
What happens when the bug occurs? Option shows "Crudely Complement Appearance"
What do you expect to see? Option should show "Crudely Compliment Appearance." To compliment is to say 'Your dress is beautiful,' to complement is to go together like peanut butter and jelly.

       It would also be fun if the devs fixed Crudely Compliment typo but also added a "Crudely Complement Appearance" option for erratic or mean sims to make them change into a messed up copy of whatever the target sim was wearing, but I don't think being a sloppy copy cat is appropriate for unflirty sims :v

What happens when the bug occurs? Description shows "The Lin-Z learns as your interact with it"
What do you expect to see? Description should show "Lin-Z learns as you interact with it"

What happens when the bug occurs? Description reads "The Roswell's are"
What do you expect to see? Description should read "The Roswells are" with no apostrophe because verbs can't be possessed.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to StrangerVille, click on Plateau Place and select the household info tab to view the description
What happens when the bug occurs? Description reads "There is no better place like Plateau Place" which is mixing two idioms
What do you expect to see? Description should read "There is no better place than Plateau Place" OR "There is no place like Plateau Place" (I think this one was the intent so it would make a play on 'there's no place like home')
