Alphabet SuperLegacy Challenge

So @NRowe started a discussion about exploring all of the game play in the Sims. @elanorbreton suggested going in alphabetical order and this gave me an idea for a legacy challenge. What if each generation represented a different letter of the alphabet, and is charged with completing all of the game play related to that letter. I'm going to start writing the rules here and update as I play through it.

Overall Rules

  • Ignore any objective related to a pack you don’t own. You can choose to skip a generation if your pack limitations leave it extremely short on content.
  • No cheat codes that help you move through your objectives faster. Want to cheat a promotion? No go. Want to wear a toilet on your head? You do you. The only money cheat you are allowed to use is “freerealestate on” when you move the founding family in.
  • No rules whatsoever about aging.
  • No rules whatsoever governing non-heirs.
  • Just because one generation has something as an objective, doesn’t mean that other generations aren’t allowed to do it. For example, Gen 2 (Letter b) is required to visit a Beach lot. That doesn’t mean the other generations can’t visit the beach just for fun.
  • If you don’t have at least three traits in the assigned letter, you have to randomize the rest. You cannot accept self-discovery traits starting with a different letter.
  • Each heir's name must begin with their assigned letter. If they own a pet, the pet's name must start with that letter too.
  • Likes and Dislikes: The heir can only have the likes/dislikes assigned to their generation. Music preferences are assigned when the heir ages up to Child. Hobby preferences are assigned as they become available. Color preferences are assigned when they age up to Child. From that point forward, all the heir's outfits must prominently feature at least one of their favorite colors, and avoid the colors they dislike. If you decorate/redecorate a space for them you must consider their color preferences. Fashion and interior design preferences are assigned when they age up to teen. From that point forward, all of their outfits will prominently feature at least one of their preferred styles (to the extent possible-some styles might not have swimwear options for example). If you decorate/redecorate a space for them you must consider their interior design preferences.
  • Lot Traits and Challenges: The heir must have all of their assigned lot challenges equipped in all of their designated residences. If the heir has three assigned lot traits or less, they also must be assigned to all of their designated residences. If the heir has four or more lot traits for their generation, they can change which three are in place when they switch to a different residence.
  • The heir's transitional aspirations (the ones that decide the bonus traits) have to be aspirations from their generation. If they have more than two aspirations, you decide which two and which order. If they only have one aspiration, you can pick any aspiration to be the other one. You don't have to complete the other aspiration, just use it for the transition to get the bonus trait. If the generation has no aspirations, pick any two aspirations for the transitions.

Some notes about how I alphabetize things:
Spoiler

  • There are a bazillion aspirations starting with the word "Master." I decided that, instead of putting them all in the M Gen, I would alphabetize them based on what the person is supposed to Master. For the sake of consistency, I did the same for aspirations that start with words synonymous with Master (e.g. Chief, Expert). This is why Master Vampire is alphabetized under V and Expert Nectar Maker is alphabetized under N.
  • Some generations feel like a marathon and others feel more like standard game play. There were a few letters, though, that had so little game play associated with them that I decided to skip them altogether. For example, a Q gen, if it existed, would have nothing to do but live in a Quake Zone, admiring their Queen Anne decor. In these cases, the associated game play is moved to a different gen based on the second word. This is why Queen Anne is now A Gen and Quake Zone is Z Gen. If there is no second word, it is alphabetized by the second syllable. This is why T Gen has to live in UpTown.
  • Branched careers are mostly alphabetized under the overall career, because, in many cases, the branches are pretty redundant, especially the rabbit hole careers. If a generation has no associated career, it can steal one from another generation based on branch name. I've also split careers into branches if there's a substantive difference between the two.
  • Words starting with "Ex" are alphabetized under X.

Gen Zero-The Founder's Parent(s)
Spoiler
When you begin the legacy, the A Gen founder will be an infant or toddler. They will need at least one responsible adult in the house to take care of them. Gen Zero can have any traits, careers, hobbies (if any) or aspirations. They can ignore their aspiration. They do not have to reach the top of any skills or careers. Their sole purpose in the challenge is to support A Gen in progressing to young adulthood while achieving any preteen or teen-specific objectives along the way.
The "Reside in," "Lot Trait," "Visit" and "Other Gameplay" objectives do not apply until A Gen reaches young adulthood. Gen Zero can raise them anywhere and use any lot traits. For future generations, those categories also do not apply until they reach young adulthood.

    E Gen-The Entertaining Emissary

Here are Evan's objectives for his adulthood:
Teen+ Aspirations- Emissary of the Collective
    Careers- Entertainer, Environmental Manager (Conservationist)
    Collections-Elements
    Aspiration Reward Traits-Energized Potion.
Other Gameplay- Use Earbuds. After all other objectives are complete, die from Electrocution.

Officially, E Gen is supposed to live in Evergreen Harbor. Because I don't own Eco Lifestyle, Evan can't live there, so I decided to move him to the shack in Moonwood Mill. The Grimtooth Bar nearby has a space for live entertainment, perfect for honing Evan's craft as a musician. I had to do a quick renovation on the shack to accommodate Evan's hatred of all things vintage.
    Spoiler

Evan gets a job as a C-list entertainer. He returns from work annoyed because he just barely missed a promotion.
    Spoiler

He meets a neighbor named Wolfgang in the community garden. Wolfgang says that he's a member of the Moonwood Collective, a group of werewolves dedicated to diplomacy and sustainable living. Werewolves? Evan had heard that his grandmother was once a werewolf, but he'd never met one in person before. He follows Wolfgang to the Collective's hangout and he soon becomes an official friend of the Moonwood Collective.
    Spoiler

Evan has picked up a new hobby. He inherited part of Celia's crystal collection and wants to use this in his search for all of the elements.
    Spoiler

Evan wants to be a full member of the Moonwood Collective, so he asks Kristofer Volkov to turn him. He's closer to Wolfgang, but Wolfgang doesn't have that ability. Evan then works on his skills so that he can pass the membership test. By showing his talent for scavenging, Evan proves himself to Kristofer and becomes a member of the pack.
    Spoiler

If Evan wants to become alpha of the Moonwood Collective, he will have to build enough fitness to defeat Kristofer in a tug of war. He goes to the local library, which has a gym for some reason. He drinks an Energized Potion, sets his Earbuds to play Electronica, and goes on an endurance run.
    Spoiler

Evan wants to establish his diplomacy skills, an important part of the Collective's mission. He takes a diplomatic trip to the bar in Glimmerbrook, spreading the word about the benefits of werewolf and spell caster collaboration. After a successful mission and establishing his worth as member in other ways, he faces Kristofer one night and challenges him to the ultimate Tug of War. His victory means that he is the new alpha of the collective, and his Emissary of the Collective aspiration is achieved.
    Spoiler

Evan has worked his way up the Musician career branch and has reached the top as a Concert Virtuoso. He celebrates by giving a performance with his new Rock Star Guitar (promotion bonus) for his friends at the Grimtooth.
    Spoiler

Evan has decided its time to settle down and start a family. Lily Zhu offers to give him DNA for a science baby. With a mother named Lily and a grandmother named Dahlia, Evan feels a flower name would be right, so he names her Frangipani Letterman.

    E Gen Pt 2-Father of F Gen

I've updated the rules to include objectives for Crystal Creations (C, G and J Gen). Evan only has a few objectives left: reach the top of the Environmental Manager branch of the conservationist career, find the last Element, die from Electrocution.

After two relatively laid back generations it's time get back in gear. F Gen is here and she going to have a lot on her plate:
    Toddler-Fussy Trait
    Final Traits- Foodie, Family-Oriented
Likes-Fishing, Fitness, Focus music, Farmhouse, French Country
    Teen+ Skills- Fishing, Fitness, Flower-Arranging
Teen+ Aspirations-Fabulously Wealthy, Freelance Botanist, Friend of the World
    Careers- Fast Food
    Collections-Fossils, Frogs, Fish
Aspiration Rewards-Instant Fun, Flirty Potion, Focused Potion, Fertile, Free Services, Frugal, Forever Fresh, Forever Full.

Evan moved to a house in Foundry Cove, one of F Gen's neighborhoods. This sets up a narrative where Frangipani continues to live in her childhood home as a young adult. Also, I just love Willow Creek. It's the most underrated world. Frangipani is now a Fussy toddler who likes to rule the roost.

Evan has taken the Moonwood Collective mission of sustainability to heart and left the entertainer career to start a job as a Land Surveyor in the conservationist career. He lectures litterers about their misdeeds. Meanwhile, his daughter is vandalizing the pineapples.

Soon, Frangipani is ready to start elementary school and is learning about the things she likes. She's a Music Lover like her father, but her favorite station is Focus. In accompanying her father to Mua Pelam, she discovered that she loves fishing there. She hopes to travel all over the world to find different types of fish. When Lily took her and her friend Atarv to the Spice Market, Frangipani discovered that she likes fitness, too.

Evan has taught her to take an interest in nature. She has been exploring Willow Creek finding collectibles such as fossils in the park, and frogs in her own neighborhood.

Evan's been coming along too. He finally found the last element. He placed it in the back yard to help Frangipani focus (she's doing the Whiz Kid aspiration because of all the mental skills she has to master later). Evan also reached the branching point in the conservationist career and became on Environmental Manager. Now he spends a lot of time on the phone consulting on environmental policy.

Frangipani ages up to a teen with the Foodie trait. She enjoys the carob cake that her father made for her, but she thinks it would be nice if they could eat the finest foods and have the nicest things. She hopes that someday, she will be Fabulously Wealthy. She uses the aspiration points that she earned as a child to buy the Frugal trait, so they won't spend as much money on basic necessities. She also decided that she loves French Country and Farmhouse decor.

If she wants to afford nice things, she'll have to make money. She gets a job working at a Fast Food place. Frangipani asked Jacob, the neighborhood gardener, about his work and was inspired to start a garden of her own. She takes a Focused potion to help her build gardening skills faster. Maybe someday, she'll be a Freelance Botanist.

She realizes that she can use the flowers from her garden to make beautiful flower arrangements. Soon she's made enough progress that she can stream flower arranging videos using a drone, helping her build fame.

After she becomes a cashier, the highest level in the Fast Food career, she celebrates by going to the spice festival. She enjoys meeting new people and decides that she wants to become a Friend of the World. She's not the only one to reach a career milestone. Evan has been promoted to Chief Environmental Officer, the highest level in the Environmental Manager career.

Evan takes Frangipani and Aunt Ember on a vacation to Selvadorada. Frangipani takes the opportunity to search for Selvadoradian fossils and fish, braving a bite from a poisonous spider in the process. Completing level 3 of the Angling Ace aspiration gives her enough points to purchase the Forever Fresh trait. Very useful for someone who spends a lot of time out in nature. During their stay, the stove at the villa broke. Evan tried to fix it, but it shocked him. He tried to shake it off and keep working on the stove, but a second shock Electrocuted him.

    • Teen+ Aspirations- Fabulously Wealthy, Freelance Botanist, Friend of the World
    • Careers- Fisherman, Florist

Engage in Fall seasonal activities. Own a Foosball table and a Fireplace. After all other objectives have been completed die by Falling, Freezing or Flowers.

Frangipani still lives in the house in Foundry Cove. This is particularly lonely because she’s a Family-oriented sim. The house is a struggle to keep clean because it's Filthy. She’s also going to have to find a way to pay the bills.  She takes a job as a Fisherman, since she loves fishing, but she supplements her income with writing short stories.

She purchases the Free Services trait, but she still likes to Fix things herself.
Fast Internet helps her write. She takes a Fun potion to keep her from getting bored with it.

She soon reaches the top of the Fisherman career. As she tends to her beloved garden, she realizes she could make even more money as a gardener. As her finances slowly improve, her loneliness only seems to be worse. She decides a trip to the Snow Festival.

Meeting the fascinating Inna Cents at the snow festival.

She invites Inna Cents on a date to the Flea market. They have dinner at one of the Food stalls. As time goes by, Frangipani decides to pop the question.

Frangipani trades fossils at the Flea Market.
After taking a Flirty potion, Frangipani invites Inna over to see her new Fireplace. The moment is right.

Soon there on their honeymoon in Selvadorada. All is not smooth sailing when they get home. Evan has realized that there is a vampire in the house and he is not pleased.

Not planning to start a family right away, but Frangipani purchases the Fertile trait just to be prepared.
    In-law problems.

Frangipani continues to work away. When she reaches the branching point of her career and becomes a Florist, she gives Inna a celebratory flower arrangement to inspire her creativity as she paints a mural.

Spring arrives and Frangipani is enjoying her hobbies. She achieves the Freelance Botanist aspiration and continues her collecting. She masters Flower-Arranging and finishes the Fabulously Wealthy aspiration.

Frangipani has collected all of the Fossils and Frogs.
One Floral Masterpieces makes her Fabulously Wealthy

In the summer, Inna finally achieves sun resistance, so she and Frangipani go out to play in the park Fountain. They also invite friends over for a costume party and foosball tournament, which helps Frangipani achieve Friend of the World.

Spending summer holiday in the park. Frangipani also takes some more time to fish, mastering the fishing skill.
Finishing Friend of the World gives her enough points to buy the Forever Full trait. More cake for the guests.

Inna and Frangipani have decided they are ready make a science baby. Before moving, they take a vacation to Mt Komorebi, where Frangipani receives a blessing from the Forest Spirits.

Inna has a feeling that their child will be a vampire. She wants to move to Forgotten Hollow where they'll be safe and accepted.

    F Gen Pt 2-Final Arrangements

Frangipani still has quite a bit left to do: Master the Fitness skill, reach the top of the Florist career, collect all the Fish, visit Forgotten Grotto, achieve 5-star Fame, throw a Fan Meet and Greet, enjoy Fall seasonal activities and die Freezing.

G Gen has the following goals for their early years:

    • Teen-Good Manners trait
    • Final Traits- Pick 3: Good, Genius, Gloomy, Goofball, Geek, Glutton
    • Likes-Gardening, Guitar, Gray, Green, Garden
    • Dislikes-Tween Pop
    • Teen+ Skills- Gardening, Gourmet Cooking, Guitar, Gemology
    • Teen+ Aspirations- Good Vampire, Grilled Cheese
    • Collections-Gardening, Geodes
    • Aspiration  Rewards-Gym Rat, Great Storyteller, Grill Master.

Inna’s premonition was half right. They have a vampire baby, whom Inna named Goran. Goran has a twin named Garnet who’s a vamwolf (vampire werewolf). Although the twins are a handful, Frangipani finds a moment to celebrate the Fall season with a bonfire.

Goran and Garnet dislike each other from birth.

The twins age up to child. Goran now has the Good trait and Garnet has the Genius trait. While on vacation, Goran’s good impulses urge him to extend the olive branch to Garnet over a game of chess. He builds manners by giving Goran compliments. Goran has also started discovering his likes and dislikes, including his hatred of Tween Pop.

Goran dresses in his favorite colors: Gray and Green.

Frangipani has mastered the Fitness skill by climbing the walls on a trip to Yukimatsu.  She also achieved enough handiness to open the tunnel to the Forgotten Grotto. All of this while building enough fame as a floral influencer to throw a Fan Meet and Greet at the Narwhal Arms.

Goran is amazed at all the crystals in the Forgotten Grotto.

When Goran and Garnet become teenagers, their occult abilities manifest more strongly. For Garnet this give him a feeling of being torn in two by his vampire and werewolf natures. His werewolf form is disfigured. His vampire form cannot be summoned on command. His needs are confusing and conflicting. He asks Inna to use her knowledge of Vampire Lore to create a vampire cure for him. Goran feels the opposite, he wants to develop his vampire powers in order to become a Good Vampire.

Inna reluctantly agrees to help Garnet transform into a normal werewolf.
Goran uses points from completing the lower levels of the Good Vampire aspiration to purchase the Great Storyteller trait.

Goran has learned more about his personality. He is now a Glutton who wants to master the art of Grilled Cheese, as well as Gourmet Cooking.  He discovers that he loves Gardening and Garden aesthetic. He hopes to collect all of the Gardening collectibles some day.

Goran uses the points he earns working through the Grilled Cheese aspiration to purchase the Gym Rat trait, so he can keep in good trim, and the Grills and Stoves trait, so he can make excellent food.Goran gives Frangipani's garden a romantic garden makeover.

Goran enjoys playing Guitar, as well as developing Gemology skill to create jewelry.

    Grandpa Evan's Rock Star Guitar.
His first jewelry sale is a success.

Frangipani finally becomes a Visionary of Vases, the top of the Florist career, but she doesn’t achieve 5-star fame until she does a computer giveaway.

She decides to do a world tour. On a beach trip to Sulani, she finally completes the fish collection. Her return to Yukimatsu was not so successful. She stayed out too long in the cold and died Freezing.

    Catching Mahi Mahi in Sulani.
Goran was dismayed that the Grim Reaper wouldn't take a grilled cheese sandwich in exchange for his mother's life.

    G Gen-The Vampire Jeweler

Goran has the following goals remaining:

    • Teen-Good Manners trait
    • Final Traits- Geek
    • Teen+ Skills- Gardening, Gourmet Cooking, Guitar, Gemology
    • Teen+ Aspirations-Goal- Grilled Cheese, Good Vampire
    • Collections-Gardening, Geodes
    • Reside In- Glimmerbrook, Galloping Gulch
    • Lot Traits and Challenges-Great Acoustics, Good Schools, Great Soil, Gnomes; Grody, Gremlins
    • Visit- Granite Falls, Gym
    • Other Gameplay- Garden Gnomes. Have a pet goat. Sell something using a street Gallery. Attend Ghost Night and Guys Night at Bars. Befriend a Ghost. Attend Geekcon. Own a grill, a game console. Give gifts. Prepare a Grand meal.

Goran and Garnet have finished high school and have moved out to Glimmerbrook to seek their fortune. Because Goran’s favorite style is Garden, they live in a garden together. It’s a good think the only breakable appliance on the property is the sink, because the garden appears to be home to warring factions of Gremlins and Gnomes.

The garden has a Grill in the back, so Garnet can eat, and an outhouse because the garden is Grody and food doesn't always stay down.
The Great Acoustics (really?) help Goran develop his Guitar skill.
Goran uses his Good Manners to convince their neighbor, Tomax Collette, to let him have a sip.

Goran buys a starter home in Glimmerbrook and converts it to a jewelry store. Because he’s a Geek now, he has a break room in the back with a Game console.

He also sells gourmet desserts in one corner of the store.
Izumi Yoshida, the food critic, stops by to try his desserts.

When spring arrives, Goran takes full advantage of the fact that their garden has Great Soil and cultivates better plants. He joins the Garden Gnomes nature club, which helps him master the Gardening skill.

Goran has introduced Garnet to Teresa, a member of the Garden Gnomes.

Goran doesn’t spend all his time in his garden. He goes to the Gym in Windenberg, which has a rocket for zero-G workouts, and eats a grilled cheese sandwich in space, completing the Grilled Cheese aspiration. He also goes out for Guys Night and Ghost Night.

Goran becomes friends with a newly deceased ghost named Tristen Bheeda.

Izumi, knowing what a Geek he is, invites Goran out to Geekcon. Things come to a head when Izumi calls up Garnet in a panic saying that she found a ring in Goran’s bag. I’m thinking …um, he’s a jeweler? But I decide Garnet would egg her on.  So now my head cannon is that Izumi and Goran got engaged due to a misunderstanding.

The trip to Geekcon ends up turning into sort of a date.
Goran gifts Izumi a pair of earrings that he made himself.

Goran continues to improve his business, increasing his selection of jewelry, gourmet deserts, and even selling geodes.

    He completes the Geode Collection.
    Goran masters Gemology
Mastering Gourmet Cooking allows him to make baked Alaska.

Although Izumi and Goran have been engaged for longer, Garnet and Teresa are the first to get married. Goran’s been dragging his heals, because he doesn’t want to marry Izumi until he has Regained Humanity, so he won’t lose control and bite her.

Goran uses his skills to prepare a Grand Meal for the wedding at Von Haunt estates.

He invites Izumi to move in soon after he finds a third plasma fruit behind Count Vlad’s house, completing the Good Vampire aspiration and earning Regained Humanity.

Goran and Izumi have a jam session and Goran masters the Guitar skill.

When Izumi finds out she’s pregnant, she and Goran decide to move out to a farmhouse in Galluping Gulch.

Izumi has always dreamed of living in a quaint farm house.

    G Gen Pt 2-Galloping Goats

Goran still has a few things to do: visit Granite Falls, complete the Gardening collection, live in a home with the Good Schools trait, buy a goat, and sell something using a street Gallery.

H Gen has the following goals for their early years:

    • Child-make holiday crafts, Always do homework
    • Final Traits- Pick 3: Hates Children, Horse Lover, High-Maintenance, Hot-Headed
    • Likes-Handiness, Horse Riding, Hip Hop
    • Dislikes-Singing, Skiing, Snowboarding, S-Pop, Spooky, Strangetunes, Summer Strut, Suburban Contemporary, Storybook, Shabby
    • Teen+ Skills- Handiness, Horse Riding, Herbalism
    • Collections-Holiday Cracker Plushies
    • Aspiration Rewards-Hardly Hungry, Heatproof, Happy Potion, Instant Hygiene.

While preparing for the new baby, Goran tries selling some of his grilled cheese paintings by setting up a Gallery in front of the saloon in town. He ends up deciding to stick to his day job.

Izumi wants a Goat for her farmhouse. Their daughter Haruna is a vampire and it would be much more convenient for the heir to be a human, with H Gen being so outdoorsy, so I try again. I was surprised with twins: Hayato and Holt. Unfortunately, they’re both vampires, so I just pick Hayato.

Little Haruna can pet Gingko the goat.

Haruna is soon old enough for school. Her grades advance quickly because of the Good Schools trait. Holt and Hayato aren’t far behind her.

Hayato is very studious and always does his homework.

Hayato is starting to learn about his interests. He loves riding on his father’s rescue horse, Galileo, and he enjoys Hip Hop. Unfortunately, he has the Hot-Headed trait, and some things only make him madder. S-Pop, Spooky music, Strangetunes and Summer Strut, not to mention his brother’s Singing.

When Izumi took the kids to the Snow Festival, Hayato tried the bunny slope and decided he hated Snowboarding and Skiing.

Hayato loves Holidays. He likes to make holiday crafts and collects Holiday plushies.

Izumi keeps Hayato's holiday cards on her desk.

The twins have aged up to teens and Goran takes them, and Galileo, on a trip to Granite Falls. I equipped one of the lodges with horse accommodations so sims can ride their horses around the national forest. Hayato is a Horse-Lover now, but he spends enough time on foot to discover forest herbs and learn about Herbalism. He also likes the hand-crafted wood elements in the lodge and develops an interest in Handiness and woodworking.

Goran and Izumi give the twins a bedroom makeover (Haruna had hers long ago). Hayato hates Suburban Contemporary, Storybook and Shabby aesthetics. Since these are all relatively inexpensive styles, I’m interpreting that to mean that he has expensive tastes. I gave his bedroom a fancy/expensive makeover.

With his love of gardening forest herbs and riding the horse around Galluping Gulch, Hayato wants to be outside a lot and his sun-vulnerability thwarts him. He asks Haruna to make him a vampire cure. One of the adjustments to being a human is that he now knows what it means to be hot. He doesn’t like it. He finishes part of the nerd brain aspiration and uses the points to purchase the Heatproof trait.

Goran finally finds the forbidden fruit after planting a Mystical Magic Bean Tree next to his jewelry shop. This completes his Gardening collection. He has finished all of his objectives now.

Hayato spends a lot of his free time practicing his horse riding with Galileo’s son Hector. Sometimes he needs to take a Hygiene potion to stay fresh. He even participates in some competitions and eventually masters the Horse Riding skill.

I'm struggling to figure out how to update the challenge rules to include Lovestruck features. I might to start a whole new thread, but for now I'll just continue to add my play test to this one.

    H Gen-the Haunted Horseman

    • Final Traits- High-Maintenance
    • Teen+ Skills- Handiness, Herbalism
    • Reside In-A Haunted House
    • Lot Traits and Challenges-Homey, Home Studio
    • Visit-Hospital (have a baby or accompany a pregnant household member), Hermit’s Hut, Hottest Spot in Town.
    • Aspiration Rewards-Hardly Hungry, Happy Potion.
    • Other Gameplay- Celebrate every Holiday. Throw a House Party. Attend Happy Hour at a Bar. Attend the Humor and Hijinks festival. Have a Hamster and a Horse. Go Hiking. Hack something on the computer. Own a Hot tub, a Hot pot and a Horseshoe game. Woohoo in a Hot Spring and a Hot tub. After all other objectives are complete, die from Hysteria.

Hayato is a young adult now, so he moves out to a house in Rider’s Glen with Hector. He soon realizes that the house is Haunted. This only adds to the stress he has from being High-Maintenance.

I put Dr. Ashley's Haunted House on the empty lot in Rider's Glen.
Hayato buys a Hot Tub and uses his handiness skill to equip it with aromatherapy, to reduce his stress from being High-Maintenance.

He builds a woodworking studio behind the house, to take advantage of the Home Studio lot trait, which will help him make better furniture.

The lot also has the Homey trait, which will help him build Handiness and gardening skill for growing Herbs.

He decides to get to know his neighbors better. He invites over a widower named Umber Grove (his wife died of terminal gym bunny the previous winter) and his son. He also takes his neighbors Dani and Marissa out to Happy hour and his neighbor Akshara, another single parent, to the Rusty Horseshoe club.

Umber, little Wren and Hayato play Horseshoes.
Happy Hour at the 8 Bells.

Halloween soon arrives. Hayato still loves holidays and is determined to celebrate each one. Hayato’s also discovered that he can appease the spirits in the house by giving them Happy potion.

The Haunted House is a favorite spot for teenagers to go trick-or-treating.
Hayato appeases a spirit with Happy potion.

Then it’s back to the grind. He’s struggling to get his custom furniture business off the ground, so he Hacks the Llamacorn Llistserv with an email promoting his furniture. He’s also been supplementing his income by winning horseracing championships.

Winning a fifth Master Championship with Hector completes one of the objectives for the Champion Rider aspiration, giving him enough aspiration points to purchase the Hardly Hungry trait, so he can save time and money by eating less.

Hayato has started dating Akshara. He invites her and her son Atharv to his house for Winterfest, and gives Atharv a nice gift.

Before long, Hayato and Akshara are on their honeymoon. They rent one of the family lodges so they can bring Atharv along. Naturally, Hector comes too. Hayato takes the opportunity to go Hiking, and brings Atharv along for a visit to the Hermit’s Hut.

    The Hermit teaches Atharv fishing.
While Atharv is enjoying riding Hector around the national park, Hayato and Akshara woohoo in the Hot Springs.

When they return home, Hayato masters the Herbalism skill. He uses a clear mind distillation to help him focus and master the Handiness skill.

With high Handiness skill, Hayato can make good money selling hand-crafted guitars.

Hayato buys Atharv a Hamster. Of course, there are moments when it’s better not to have a child around. Hayato and Akshara take advantage of her Wednesday day off to woohoo in the aromatherapy Hot Tub.

Atharv is delighted with Harvey the Hamster.

Hayato’s brother Holt is gaining traction as a comedian. He invites Hayato and his family to the Humor and Hijinks festival to watch his performance. This is when Akshara tells him she’s pregnant. In due time, they have an infant named Innes on their hands.

    Innes is Intense.

    H Gen Pt 2-Holiday Hysteria

Hayato still has some objectives left: Visit a Hospital and the Hottest Spot in Town, celebrate every Holiday, throw a House Party, own a Hotpot and die of Hysteria.

Here are Innes’ remaining objectives for his early years:

    • Toddler-Imagination Skill, Independent or Inquisitive Trait
    • Teen-Irresponsible and Insensitive Traits
    • Final Traits- Insider, Child of the Islands
    • Likes-Industrial, Island Décor, Island Radio
    • Dislikes- Rocket Science, Red, Retro music, Romance music, R&B, Ranch music
    • Teen+ Aspirations-Inner Peace
    • Collections-Insects
    • Aspiration Rewards-Inspired Potion, Incredibly Friendly, Ice proof, Independent

The house in Rider’s Glen can’t accommodate more than one child, so Hayato and Akshara look around for something else. As it turns out, a man named Max Villareal is trying to sell his estate on Crumbling Isle so that he can buy a nectary in Rider’s Glen and move there with his son. Hayato jumps at the offer, and the family is off to Windenberg.

Hayato treats the welcome wagon to a meal with his new Hotpot.

As a toddler, Innes is Independent and likes to make messes. This builds his Imagination, but lowers his responsibility.

    Innes masters Imagination skill.

Hayato takes the family on vacation to Granite Falls for summer holiday. This is the final Holiday in the annual rotation. In the evening, Hayato and Akshara enjoy some alone time by the campfire, or at least they try to.

Hector's son Hyperion is a third wheel.

When Innes ages up, he develops the Child of the Islands Trait. He learns that he likes Island music, which gives him a playful moodlet. He hates the color Red. Since red is arguably the boldest color, I’m interpreting this to mean that he likes neutral tones.

Innes likes Island music, but hates Retro, Romance and Ranch.

Hayato and Akshara are having another baby. They make their big announcement at a House party with friends and family. In due time, Innes takes Akshara to the hospital for the delivery. They name their new baby Ivan.

When Innes ages up to teen, he realizes he likes Island and Industrial décor, so he redecorates his bedroom in a style that fuses the two. He now has a computer desk in his room, where he can practice his video gaming. He hopes to be an internet personality someday, so he wants to build his skills.

I like Innes' Tropic Steampunk aesthetic better than his father's Bougie Supreme.

Ivan has grown into an Inquisitive toddler, which means he develops thinking skills faster. Meanwhile, Innes is working on the early levels of the Chief of Mischief aspiration. This is partly because the mischief skill will be useful for his future career, and partly because the Chief of Mischief objectives help him reduce his empathy. Having a successful Winterfest gives him enough aspiration points to purchase the Incredibly Friendly trait.

Pranking Atharv gives Innes enough aspiration points to purchase the Iceproof trait, useful in winter.

Another Granite Falls vacation leads Innes to discover that there different types of Insects there.

Innes wants to collect all of the Insects one day.

Innes is becoming more and more Insensitive and Irresponsible. Mocking Temperance the ghost puts him in range for the Insensitive trait and skipping school repeatedly puts him in range for the Irresponsible trait.

    Is this a smart idea?
While skipping school for Geekcon, Innes discovers he dislikes Rocket Science.

Hayato takes the family to a café that is now the Hottest Spot in Town. Unfortunately, Hayato doesn’t live to see Innes grow up. He becomes excessively playful under the influence of a playful ghost, and dies of Hysteria.

Innes takes a picture with famous writer Masami Murakami at the cafe.

This version of the challenge has only been updated through Crystal Creations. Since it's difficult to update posts that were transferred from the old forums, I set up a new thread here. As of right now, the new version of the challenge includes game play from Lovestruck.
