There's been a lot of discussion about death and danger in TS4, so I thought I'd make a thread for it! What are your thoughts on danger and dying in TS4 and how it relates to the previous sims games? What would you like to see in the future?

I would kind of like it to be easier to have sims accidentally die. It rarely happens in my Sims 4 game.

One sec, let me gather up all my stories of danger and accidental deaths that aren't called "Death by old age" in Sims 4 Crickets chirp as a tumbleweed rolls by.

I want more danger and accidental deaths it makes the sims games more fun part of the fun of the sims games is not knowing whats gonna happen

This is why I love the Meteor Attacks in Sims 3. They rarely happened but when they did, mass catastrophe! I have had sims die of embarrassment before but never of hysteria or anger.

Death badly needs an overhaul. Since launch I’ve had two unnatural deaths. I.e wasn’t from old age. But this is a game that nerfed alien abductions so I’m not expecting any great advances in this score.Ditto with danger. I want danger in my sims lives, I want burglars and an unsavourily charlatan character back and when my sim with no handiness skill whatsoever fixes her broken fuse box perfectly I cringe. It shouldn’t be that simple every time, there should be a risk there.

Your dryer can catch fire if lint filter isn't changed. Also a sim can be electrocuted if they try fixing washer with puddles.

Oh, I might be kind of interested in getting this pack.

That sounds pretty cool, and I am glad that that possibility is included in the game. Hopefully the new Game Pack includes new dangers given it seems like it is an adventure pack, and nothing says adventure than danger

The new laundry stuff pack has 2 new ways to die. Your dryer can catch fire if you don't change lint filter. You can also get electrocuted trying to fix washer if there's puddle in front of it. I agree that this game is a bit predictable.

I bet that doesn’t apply to fixing other appliances that use water like the dish washer.

I added the cursed lot trait to my game as someone told me it really does increase Random bad events but it’s been 3 Sim weeks and nothing has changed
