I just don't think it's been covered yet. Doesn't mean it won't ever come. Here are some possible business types
- Manufacturing/Production - Making something and selling it for more than it cost to make it. You can do this with painting/writing/woodwork etc in the BG.
- Retail - The selling (or reselling) of items for a profit - They covered this in GTW. It could have been better, but it does what it says on the tin.
- Dining Establishments (Counter Service) - Selling food/drink at a counter for consumption on the premises - We got drinking establishments in BG, and 2 eating types in GT, Cafés and Bar Food. We don't get to own these atm, but that doesn't mean it isn't possible in the future. (see PAYG Venue, below)
- Dining Establishments (Table Service) - Serving food to a table for consumption on the premises - This is coming, with much customisation, in Dine Out.
- Entertainment Service - This is the type of lot to need entry fees or ticket machines (cinemas, darts club, galleries, pools, gyms etc) - Not covered yet.
- PAYG Venue - This would be things like arcades/laundrettes/bars that charge you per item/service used/purchased, rather than for being on the lot - Ownership not covered yet.
- PAYG/Ticket Hybrid - Nightclubs/themeparks/spas/gyms with extras/cinemas with concessions, etc where you pay an entry fee and some individual costs for additional services or goods. - Not covered yet.
