Evil Vampire Challenge

I was tired of waiting on them so this is my Vampire Challenge to anyone who liked playing Vampires. Male or Female, Must be an Adult Sim. One Single Sim as the vampire.

1. You start with 100 points and lose them for breaking particular rules which in essence would cause the real vampire to die. So, for the purposes of this challenges and because we don't really have any, their failure is on a point system.

2. Build a Sim and give them the following Aspiration. Must be a Serial Romantic. (this will be used in lieu of finding a Sim for supper).

3. Traits: Evil, Self Assured, Flirty. (With these traits you won't hate them too bad later).

4. They must live alone the first two days. And get a pen pal to fill social and or chat online. No leaving the house for the first 24 hours. They have just woken from a hundred year sleep and need to learn how to manipulate Sims to come to their home and how the new world works when it comes to searching out those Sims who would more than likely be their dinner.

5. If the welcome wagon shows up, don't open the door. Because this will make you lose points due to restrictions on hours.

6. Time of day is important to how you play this Sim. He/She is supposed to be a vampire and not from Twilight. lol But older, old world myths, from long ago. So, I have set very strict rules for times of day for the minion and the vampire.

A. They can't leave the house before 8:00 P.M. in this challenge. Because in this game it doesn't get dark until 9:00 P.M. so if in the desert you may want to wait longer. And if the sun is still making shadows on the ground in any world they live in, you may want to wait longer before going outside for anything. No exceptions. Ten Points are subtracted if you fail to keep them indoors until 8:00 P.M and later if they live in the desert since that world is so bright until very late.

B. They can't let anyone into the house before 6:00 P.M. Service workers can be hired (never a maid) but the Sim must be in their bed if they are going to have a service worker over to fix or deliver something. Or Minus Ten Points.

7. Getting A Minion. The help you add to this household of the vampire is just as important. They must have one trait above all others, they must be insane. They will spend their life looking after the vampire and it doesn't matter if you make them happy or not. As a matter of fact you will gain Two points every time your Evil Sim is mean to their minion. But it's up to you how you treat them. Must use the Mean interaction on the minion to gain these Two points per action. Because mischievous in this game is just a joke they both laugh at sometimes.

8. If anyone comes over for a visit or to be nosy, the minion must get rid of them if it's not 6:00 P.M. Or Minus Ten points. If other Sims/townies/ lovers/ NPCs are in the house before 6:00 P.M. then Minus Ten points because they would be the vampire's dinner. The Minion must go out and ask them to leave. No ignoring the door.

9. The minion can only leave the lot for one hour at a time, during the day, whether that's to buy something, collect and or have fun. Remember one hour because his/her job is to watch out for the vampire and leaving during the daytime is Ten Point penalty. So, plan his/her trips well. The totality is one hour, going/and coming back. So, don't stay somewhere too long because if they get back to the lot later than an hour it's Minus Ten points.

10. Vampire hours. The vampire must learn he/she needs to be indoors by 6:00 A.M. so if you have your Sim out on the town, better get them back home and indoors before 6:00 A.M. Or Minus Ten Points. This is so you can see they would have died if the sun was up. No exceptions.

11. The Vampire must gain all the skills for the following: Charisma this helps with conquest. Mischievous, and must be mean to others. It's your choice who those Sims would be.

12. The Evil Vampire locks Sims in rooms and let's them die. Those rooms shouldn't have anything in them not even a window (they might escape) or light. These are his meals remember? so he doesn't care they are dying. The minion can't try to help them either because he would be severely punished if he/she did try that. Ten Points if you cave and let them out or let them go.

13. You must lock away five different Sims one at time until each one passes. If you fail to do this part of the challenge (remember you can play with aging off for this challenge) you lose the challenge, so no matter how long it takes you, you must lock away and kill off five different Sims. This is the vampires way.

14. You must fill the Aspiration for the Vampire and Can't lose all your 100 points or you lose the challenge.

15. Neither the vampire or the minion can work outside the home. So, be careful how much stuff you allow your vampire to own. No free real estate cheat. But you can cheat motherlode and or use the cheats to unlock objects this challenge isn't really about those things but trying to play the ways of a vampire since we don't have any.

16. The Minion Can't become the Vampire's lover. Ever. Or they must be locked away and added to the five who will die one by one.

17. Can't move in other Sims or have babies or adopt etc. If abducted for some odd reason give it back to the home world. But remember if this should happen you must still abide by the vampire rules.

18. When thinking about your minion to build remember they must be Insane, and money hungry. Isn't that how they got into trouble to start with? Looking for treasures? lol Think of Willy from Dark Shadows or Renfield in the original Dracula novel. It was money that got them into trouble and they found a vampire instead.

19. Having dinner parties, house parties etc., at 6:00 P.M is good since you can gain 2 Points for every one you hold (remove the prestige option) and just have fun making your Sim move on to his next conquest and or foe.

20. Foes for the Evil Sim, not only do you gain reward points when filling the evil whims but will gain Five Points in this challenge every time you make a new foe. Think of them as the vampire hunters and your enemy. They must fight to get the Five Points. Which you may find you need those points if you keep losing ten points. lol ETA: Correction You Gain Five Points if Your Vampire can Declare someone their Enemy, after they fight and only after fighting.

21. Locking away Sims one at time until they pass away: this shouldn't be the Sim your Sim has romanced but if you want it to be that's a good evil plan! But you gain Five Points for every one you do lock away and (read above) it's mandatory over the life time of your Sim. (Five Different Sims).

22. If ghost happen on your lot due to the killing spree of your vampire, you have to keep them three days then get rid of them. (send to netherworld) because eventually ghosts will open that front door during the day and you can't have anyone living with your vampire other than his/her minion.

Have fun and let me know if you decide to play this TS4 Evil Vampire Challenge and if you build a Sim for your pretend vampire and minion (who must move in separately, read above) then put on gallery with #EvilVampire

ETA: Correction: You can only use money cheats when moving into a lot, not while living in the lot and why I said be careful how much stuff you allow your Vampire to own. It's O.K. at the first but not after starting the challenge of the Vampire.

ETA: oops, I almost forgot his morning, vampires can't endure water or cross water except by boat or plane. So, no swimming or hot tubs.

And I have already lost a bunch of points since my vamp was outside in the morning after 6:00 A.M. he stayed too long in a club so if he were a real vampire he would have been fried. >:)
  • It is not my kind of thing but I think the creativity is pretty sweet. Maybe down the road I will try it. Have fun! :p
  • Do we make the minion after our vampire has been alone for two days? Or do we need to find an insane townie?

This sounds like a bunch of fun. I don't know how I'll do with the subtraction and addition part, but I will try to abide by the vampire rules.

ETA: OK, Gabriel my vampire had Eric Lewis holed up in his house. When Gabriel left to meet Bella Goth at the bar who should happen along...that's right...Eric Lewis. He was not stinky like he was in his cell, but he was sad.

Will Mr. Lewis be back in his cell when my vampire returns home (I will probably learn this by the time this gets answered, lol) -- but while Eric Lewis is out and about at the bar, he might take care of his hunger needs? So...should our vampire just be housebound while he has a prisoner?

Or does the Eric Lewis in the cell have nothing to do with the Eric Lewis walking the street?

ETA again: Yes, Mr. Lewis escaped while Gabriel was out at the bar. Grrrr. He shall be mine!! What is amusing is that Mr. Lewis and Gabriel still have positive points for each other (if I were Mr. Lewis I would not be liking Gabriel. I'd have definitely lost some friendship points to the being who locked me in a small cell without food or toilet, but then again I wouldn't have hit the bars first thing if I'd escaped, lol).
  • Cinebar! This is an absolute RIOT! Good job thinking this all up.

I'm going to try it, but I have to print out all the rules. Such a forgetful ninny :#

Yes, add your minion after the vampire has been on the lot for two days. Because by that time (since he/she can't leave the lot) they will need some social.

Good question about the townie being the victim. I haven't locked up anyone yet, but was trying to fill the romance aspiration until my game locked up and I had to quit and now that lot is corrupted. lol. I may have to start over but my problem was I used the Nov. 3 patch content on his lot and if I'm not playing online they corrupt the game because Origin tells me I don't own those objects and it removed them. If I continue to play it off line it locks up my game and their multitasking etc. I am going to have to start over until that fix that (stuff missing if not online).

Have fun! Don't worry so much about the Sims you lock up as long as they eventually die. lol The points are only subtracted if your vampire Sim gets caught out too long or too early and or if your minion leaves the house during the day for more than an hour, etc.

But it's fun to imagine and see if we can stand playing a Sim that can only get out at night. lol Or get him in trouble if Sims show up during the day (which could kill him if you think about it, lol) and lose points because Renfield or someone didn't stop them from getting in the house before 6:00 P.M.

Thanks. Yeah, my Sim has already lost about fifty points because I took him to the bars to try to meet some Sims to fill his romance aspiration and I didn't get him home in time so he got in a fight with a townie outside his lot and it was 8:00 A.M. before he could get back in doors so I had to punish myself for being out when they sun came up. lol Because we know in TS2 they would have been dead. lol

    I'll give this a go ^^

Have fun let me know if you are gaining or losing points and if you like not being able to get the Sim out before 8:00 P.M. I love the vamps in the games and hope we get special powers again if they ever add them.
  • I didn't realize at first when I started this challenge that this was posted before the Vampires pack, but this is still a well thought out challenge and it's still a nice template to follow.
I may have bent the rules in a few places, to fit with the Vampires pack mechanics, and also I've been playing with a mod that allows for lethal vampire draining, so I've been doing that instead of locking sims in rooms. Apart from that I've tried to stay true to these guidelines you've laid out. It's been fun so far
