GSphere's Pixel Atelier - S4

I returned to S4 after 3 years and countless hours spent building things in S3. But at last I got tired of the slooooowwwneessss. And now, since S4 has published several packs & extensions, coupled with its much more stable (and fluid) gameplay, it's worth playing again. That being said I need CC more than ever. I can't decorate a house with 5 curtains and only in pastels, not to mention the never matching swatches...

Long story short, I've renovated a number of houses in several neighborhoods, but this last one is my favorite so far so I wanted to showcase it.

I did not build the lot. All I did was re-decorate it. The original was made by Suanin over at TSR. You can find it here:

Meet the owners: Nathan & Jamie

Nathan Moser is a retired (at 29) military intelligence officer, the Hero of Strageville, former CIA operative and now full time writer and editor of a magazine. Jamie Milner (originally created by lilsimsie) was 16 when he met Nathan. It was lust at first sight. Now that he's of age, he moved in with his lover and together, they care and raise Nathan's adopted son, Finn.


After being fired from the CIA for being a whistle blower and exposing some unsavory practices within the government, he was forced out of the house the Agency had bought for him in Windenburg. So he invested everything he had to buy and renovate this small Victorian townhouse in New Crest.

Here I kept Suanin's original color scheme (Vintage Vogue, Garnet, Pale Grey and Black), and simply expanded on it.

Note: The Attic is also Suanin's original creation. The only change is that I built a proper laundry room in the basement whereas before it was up there.

    So here's a new build - or rather the makeover of someone else's build. The wonderful creator Peacemaker, which you can find on Tumblr here:

    created that particular built, which was intended to replace Vlad's mansion in Forgotten Hollow. I was so inspired by it that I decided to give it a makeover and decorate it fully.

    (Here you can see, on the 2nd floor, the annoying bug where your columns 'sink' into the frieze. I always have to resize the wall height, up then down, to fix this...)

    Very beautiful country manor! :) Very lovely makeover of the build! The exterior, the outdoors areas, grounds and buildings, and the detailed furnishing of all the interior rooms and areas is so very lovely! It would have involved such a lot of time and work! It is a very special manor home!

    The refurnishing of the home looks great! :) Very nice layout of each room, and the furnishings are very nice!
