My Super Sims Family Challenge 2.0

Introduction

Some of you have probably seen various pics of my sim family in the various Screenshots and What Happened threads. I just wanted to gather all those pics and create a thread to help me keep track of what was happening in my game.

I've been playing this family since 2018 and usually switch off and focus on different family members depending on which career, aspiration, or pack feature I want to focus on.

When I first started my plan was to use Julianna to complete all the careers, aspirations, skills, etc. but I soon grew attached to the other family members and that's when I decided to focus on their stories also.

Edward and Julianna were both created in CAS as single households. I played Julianna for a while, had her start a relationship with Edward and they married shortly afterward.

The original family included Edward, Julianna, and their triplet daughters, Juliette, Hannah, and Isabel. Also pictured are Juliette's two children, Amelia and Asher, with her fiancée, Sebastian.

Amelia and Asher were added to the family in anticipation of High School Years as I didn't have any school age sims in the household when that pack was announced. Juliette and Sebastian's wedding plans are still on hold.

Edward's parents, 3 siblings and their children (total of six) and Julianna's parents, 2 siblings and their children (total of 3) are part of the extended family. Lots of grandparents, aunts and uncles and cousins for family gameplay.

All of the extended family members were created in CAS.

In addition to their three daughters, Julianna and Edward also have a young adult son, Theo, who was created in CAS. He was raised by his maternal grandparents. Theo and his wife, Gillian have twin toddler daughters, Mina and Mia.

Since this pic was taken, Hannah, the second daughter*, has married. Her husband is Elliott, and they have a child age daughter, Faith, and twin infants, Charity and Charlie.

* I consider Hannah the second daughter because although they were triplets they all aged up at different times. Juliette was first, Hannah second, and Isabel was the last to age up.

I like seeing other families, in a way it shows the world building you've created, the sims that also exist in that universe.

I get that too, but I like to think it shows alot of care went into them that you want to share. Though I also been neglecting a lot of mine this year 😅

I don't think you have anything to worry about, they are all same family, after all, and not at all so many 😊

But yes I get your concern, why I have also tried to keep my updates to certain families only, to avoid posting about too many of them 😊 Tho I do not even have so many to begin with, but yes still trying to limit a bit.

I'm trying to remember if I used a copy of Adam and aged him up, along with a few other changes. 😄

I truly would like to. I have to get over the feeling that I'm neglecting my main families. Like Isabel and Juliette. I haven't played them in quite a while. I hate to admit Hannah's my fav sister so she gets more playing time.

But yes, eventually I'd like to focus on the stories of some of the other family members.

I do have a concern that simmers lose interest when there's a lot of different characters to keep up with.

It is great to see the extended family! Adam looks so much like his Dad! 😊I am sure having the other family members will help as you develop your stories.

Thanks! I may get around to playing some of them one of these days.

Next up is to create parents for Sebastian, Juliette's fiance, before they get married.

Hehe, main thing is that does not bother you 😁

My aging happens, but so slowly it is almost not happening.. 😄

But yes Amelia might need some company. 😁

Planning on ever playing with them? Like the siblings of your main couple, who still are single households?

Yes, I need to start sharing more of the gameplay with them.

Funny thing, Julianna's 6 nieces and nephews, all children, are the same kids that played with Juliette, Hannah, and Isabel when they were kids. And now they play with Asher and Faith, Juliette and Hannah's kids. 😄

I need to age them up to teen, at least a couple of them so they can hang out with Juliette's teen daughter Amelia.

The passing of time has absolutely no meaning in my game. 😄

You really put a lot of thought and effort into making the extended family 😊 The love comes through in the pictures ❤️
