I was looking for a mod that allows your sim to relax on bed similarly to how we could do that in TS3. Unfortunately, the only mod I found doesn't work the way I hoped it would, but reading up about it I found out there is an actual interaction for it in game already, just hidden. So, my question is, does anyone of you know how long it's been there? Do you think it's possible they're going to enable it for us soon?I miss the option to read books in beds. I myself do this a lot, so I'm quite sad my sims can't. I feel like back in TS3 with that option my sims would spend more time in their bedrooms, because I could always get them cozy in their bed with a nice book. Now that we don't have an interaction like that my bedrooms rarely get used for anything other than sleeping, which is sad because I work pretty hard on them :p Cuddling in bed was also very cute. Overall I think this interaction would work great with multitasking.

Just making sure other players would be interested. I remember when people had a thread here about wanting the "get leftovers" option back it came in a patch 2 months later :) Now with this I obviously can't be so optimistic, but maybe they'll keep it in their minds it's a neat little detail worth considering.

I'm glad you bring this up because I've been wanting this since the base game. Those interactions are sorely missed. Nothing beats relaxing with a good book in bed. Odd that our Sims can't. And cuddling in bed together-- I really miss that one. All my sims 3 couples would do that. Le sigh.

I miss all the bed interactions. Not all the time someone sits on a bed to watch tv...Oooh, just imagine with multitasking now that a sim with their boo is laid up in bed cuddling together watching a horror movie :o :o

that's true, I have seen the bed relaxing as well as a strange floor kneeling thing that only seem to randomly occur. I've always wondered why the animations exist but are completely unused.

Wow. I'm a fan of TS4's multitasking and this is exactly why! If we can do that on couches interactions like that should also be available on beds. Just hoping the animation hidden in code for now is there for a reason.

I've seen this happen too! Not sure if it was a glitch, but my child was getting into bed and she ended up just relaxing for a good minute and then got under the covers. The floor kneeling thing is most likely from hiding/finding a journal under the bed or maybe talking to the monster under the bed?

But I definitely would like to see the relaxing in bed option come back to the game! I never just sit on the side of the bed to watch TV. I relax on the bed, watch tv, play with my phone, read a book/magazine, etc. Cuddling and kissing on the bed needs to come back as well.
