Can't interact with certain objects

I had to abandon a save I had 20 hours in because of this bug. I started up a new rook, qunari LoF rogue, and managed to make it past what triggered the bug on my previous save. Now at 18 1/2 hours in and working on map comp, I suddenly can't interact with any dagger-trigger items even though I have the dagger on my hip. This comes after a visit to Dock Town in which I did the quests involving Blight in the catacombs and the woman's missing husband, both of which caused zero issues until I moved on to Arlathan to do more map completion. When I arrived, I suddenly couldn't use the dagger for anything but companion interactions. Any dagger-trigger items that usually have lights indicating you can use them are dim -- ones I've never used before -- and are unusable. I don't have it in me to start ANOTHER new playthrough after spending so much time on this one, so here's hoping BioWare fixes this.

EDIT: I decided to restart my computer as a last-ditch effort. Loaded up my save, and the dagger was gone. I'm not touching the game until EA and BioWare can push through a fix for this. I just don't have it in me to start over for the fourth time, only for this bug to inevitably happen again.

Kinda crazy that almost two weeks have passed since people have brought this bug to EA's attention, a game-breaking bug that locks out a TON of side content and loot. I saw there was a patch this morning and got excited but nope. EA_Illium please provide SOME kind of an update as to when this will be fixed.

Still broken after the second patch. It would be nice if they'd let us know if they've made any progress on fixing this issue.

I also have this bug, which has basically killed my playthrough since there's so much progression that's just totally unavailable now.  I can confirm what another user said, it's linked to a disappearance of the physical dagger model from my Rook, unfortunately I don't know when precisely that happened.  It's really disappointing to see such a game-breaking bug in a game I've otherwise been really enjoying, hope EA fixes it soon.

The 2nd patch is out and the issue is still not fixed, are they not willing to fix it?

Ran into this issue as well after completing the area unlocked by the Dock Town champion core thing. Noticed the altar in that area was not interactable, then went and cleared everything in the snowy veil area and all the altars there are not working either. Loaded a save way back a few hours ago before I cleared that area and altars work. Very annoying, hope they fix it.

Not to spoil to much or hopefully anything I had to beat Part 8/Chapter 8

This is the chapter where you join the wardens and fight one of the gods/archdemons.

AFTER THIS long cutscene you talk with everyone in the lighthouse and gain access to a special part of their skill trees. I then went to do one of their quests with them and one of my old unique boxes was glowing as were all my statues and walls!!

I'm pretty much having the same problem where, all the unique treasure boxes, evanuris, fen'haren statues are not interactable. Was there any fix yet for this at all?  If make a new campaign it seems to be fine, however as soon as you progress somehow it becomes non interactable. I have used warrior and mage save set. I have to loose a long hours of gameplay and redo all this things... which is annoying/.

I played a good chunk into the game as a Rogue, thinking that the altars would unlock later in the game - they never did - and then I came across an epic chest, that wouldn't open. That's when I found out it was a bug. So i deleted all my saves and tried with a new game as a Mage. Here I got to activate the Fenharel altar, right after the first champion in the crossroads - everything after that I couldn't. I had been playing on a Steam version. I then realized that I could play the game through EA Play Pro. I uninstalled the Steam version, installed the EA Play Pro version and started anew with another mage. I just reached the Fenharel altar after the first champion in the crossroads, and, again, it won't let me activate it. Multiple saves, multiple classes and even different version of the game gives me the same outcome - being locked out of all altars and epic chests.
