I was looking for a mod that allows your sim to relax on bed similarly to how we could do that in TS3. Unfortunately, the only mod I found doesn't work the way I hoped it would, but reading up about it I found out there is an actual interaction for it in game already, just hidden. So, my question is, does anyone of you know how long it's been there? Do you think it's possible they're going to enable it for us soon?I miss the option to read books in beds. I myself do this a lot, so I'm quite sad my sims can't. I feel like back in TS3 with that option my sims would spend more time in their bedrooms, because I could always get them cozy in their bed with a nice book. Now that we don't have an interaction like that my bedrooms rarely get used for anything other than sleeping, which is sad because I work pretty hard on them :p Cuddling in bed was also very cute. Overall I think this interaction would work great with multitasking.

Just making sure other players would be interested. I remember when people had a thread here about wanting the "get leftovers" option back it came in a patch 2 months later :) Now with this I obviously can't be so optimistic, but maybe they'll keep it in their minds it's a neat little detail worth considering.

I'm glad you bring this up because I've been wanting this since the base game. Those interactions are sorely missed. Nothing beats relaxing with a good book in bed. Odd that our Sims can't. And cuddling in bed together-- I really miss that one. All my sims 3 couples would do that. Le sigh.

I miss all the bed interactions. Not all the time someone sits on a bed to watch tv...Oooh, just imagine with multitasking now that a sim with their boo is laid up in bed cuddling together watching a horror movie :o :o

The kneeling animation was all over my game right after parenthood came out. Sims would usually kneel to have a meal. Most of the time it looked weird and out of place, but sometimes it was strangely accurate given the situation, like here:

Everyone was eating, and suddenly Akira just got up, walked over to the high chair where his granddaughter Mylo was sitting, and kneeled next to her! :o I was shocked but it was also quite touching. It really looked like he decided to keep her company since she was kind of separated from the rest of her family in her high chair.

I think the relax interaction was intended to be in game from the start, but developers ran out of time to program it for multitasking and then it was forgotten, since they had lots of other features to work on that people demanded back. That's why I'm sure they'll enable it eventually.
