I'd love to add postteenagers to the game. They represent the ages of around 18-22 and are the youngest life stage to have full control on their actions:•Sims who are this age have a even higher chance of fertility then young adults.• Sims have teen voices in this life stage.•They may enter fulltime jobs and even attend University if DU is installed.Unlike Teen Sims, they won't autonomously play on their phones or "text" with someone.Teens will often look on their phones, although postteenagers will not. NPC sims who are post-teenagers will likely be in parttime jobs, like fast food employee, and manual laborers. But full time jobs will be available to any postteen sim.•Two posteens can get married and even have kids.•Can build the Parenting Skill as well as all other skills.•All traits are accessed like YA sims.Also, they will have the same bodysize and length as teens, as well as wrinkles and lines, except that they grew older in mindset and will be represented as "Post-Teen".There will be more soon!

IMO your describing a YA a young adult imo a young adult age rages from 18-35.

I also think of the Young Adult stage as this too. I usually start the YA's at University as if they just turned 18. I'd like there to be more personality traits so you could customize the age more, maybe some traits connected to university student life or having part-time jobs.

I hoped this life stage would be addressed in Discover University - I would have liked to see aging turned off or transitioned to a specific young adult/student life stage instead of cutting into the normal life span. Of course, you can attend university at any age not just young adult, so maybe a student specific life span could work. I swear TS2 had this but can't be sure.Definitely like the idea of post-teenager life span that adds opportunities for young adults to pursue a part-time job/intermediate job and restricts full blown careers.

So everyone was glad that you can be a YA outside of university in Sims 3.

Sims 2 did indeed have this but YA was only locked in for university you couldn't be a YA outside of the university world which sucked. So everyone was glad that you can be a YA outside of university in Sims 3.

like is there something about this lifestage you cannot do as young adult or teenager sim? cause I'm not seeing it

why should there be particularily fertile lifestage in the game? fertility differs by person, health of individual etc and not by age (at least not so extremely that being say 22 vs 25 would be any different and actually you can totally be more fertile at older age than you were when younger due to the other factors)

why should they have teen voices? again voices are not tied to age in that way some people never sound like teenagers some people always sound like teenagers + anything in between.

why wouldn't they use phones or play games all the time i literally don't know 18 years old person who doesn't do so (i mean i could understand like trait that disables sims doing this but it should be available to all ages not just this particular age group thats just strange liking tech got nothing to do with age)

why would they particularily be having part-time job at that age? or be uni student? at that particular age too? no older students ever existed?

okay that explanation of thoughts was way too long but like idk i felt i needed to explain why the addition of lifestages just never feels like something i want in game like i would rather they improve the existing lifestages we have enough lifestages just not enough lifestage specific gameplay and adding lifestage isn't gonna help any with that

freed babies? bring em on
more things to do for kids? sure
improved teenagers? absolutely
possible mid life crisis "phase" for adults or other older sim gameplay? yes sir
better personalities and traits? yes please
memories so sims could actually remember they existed? i beg
more elderly gameplay? absolutely stunning and gorgeous.
more death things like funerals? cool.

If they ad another life stage I really hope it's not another version of YA. Between birth and the age of 30ish you have 5 life stages, after that only two. Therefore if they add another life stage I hope it's middle age. That would (roughly, depending on your views) mean:

baby 0-1
toddler 1-5
child 5-13
teen 13-18
YA 18-30
adult 30-50
middle age 50-70
elder 70+

For me a middle age would make more sense, as people wouldn't jump so far in looks as they do now. By stopping fertility at middle age you'd also prevent babies being born days before someone turns into an elder. Add some midlife crisis and they could be really fun.

Aside from middle age, the life stage I think they should be prioritising is freeing babies, which, if it happens, will most likely happen through a new life stage. Then again, they might not add a new life stage at all.

People 18-22 generally their adult voice so that part makes no sense. And they text and play on their phones as much as anyone else, that doesn't just go away for a few years between 17 and 23.

Women on particular have their full body changes done by 16 on average whereas some guys are still growing a little in their early 20s, but their voices have definitely changed by then.

Am I missing something?
