Here are some candid photos of Coal and some of his Valley Venture friends.
Coal is just arriving at the Sunday Flea Market and sees Luna Villareal, she is one of the two original sims in that game to still be alive and in her adult years. She is in the social media career and wants to be 'Friend of the World' Luna has gone through her midlife crisis.
Vivian Fancey and Luna Villareal have been in a romantic relationship since high school when they attended prom together. Vivian is the eldest daughter of Jeff and Vivian Fancey who began their lives in Desiderata Valley while playing Sims . She lived with her parents Jeff & Ally Fancey who fell in love while attending university in another lifetime ago. Before recreating the family for Sims 4, Vivian and her sister Alice never got a long as they had opposite personalities with Vivian being the 'white sheep' of the family while Alice was the 'black' one. Even in Sims 4 they grew up with a 'difficult' family dynamic but were able to make up and become close although their relationship is still strained especially when Alice's mean personality surfaces. She'll tell her story another time.
Anyways back to Vivian & Luna, after high school Vivian had a nice big home built in Windenburg for her and her best friends Ash Harjo and Luna and had hoped to invite other best friends to move in but it hasn't worked out. As you can see, Vivian & Luna are enjoying watching the clouds together in this picture.
Tyrone Pleasant entertaining the flea market attendees with his guitar.
Orphan Mathew Castle's mother, Bria was one of the vendors although sales were pretty much a wash out with the rainy weather.
Teulia Lorford is looking extra happy as she sings karaoke at a local bar in San Myshuno. See Khaled's post from last night for her story.
Coal doing his homework after a busy day at the flea market.
This is Kinsley MacDonald who seems to be a forever teenager and lives on her own. I haven't added her to my orphan Sims as of this point. Think she's always been a single teen household as I don't remember seeing her with any parents in 'Other households'
Coal chatting with Copperdale High School's principal and one of the 'skeleton' Sims, Ulna Hueso who is one of his good friends.
Meet Phoenix Dawkins who was an orphan adopted by Ryo Shibata shortly after he moved in with Nova Curious in San Sequoia. Over the passage of time, Ryo & Nova became good friends and eventually fell in love and are now married. Their story will be told after my next visit. I'm not sure if their story will continue once my new laptop is all set up since many sims by the name of Lewis Sanchos tend show up in games that Nova is part of since that was part of the scenario. Even though the scenario is no longer active, these Sims keep populating in my Valley Ventures game. I read that it's a glitch but it hasn't been fixed yet. One or Lewis Sanchos in one game save is find but 10 or more of them is a different story. Maybe when Phoenix graduates, she can move to the new save while sharing the rest of the family to enjoy lives in other games.
Will leave you with one of the Lewis Sancho sims who part of the Career Day activities that Coal attended.
Here are some photos of my visit with Orphan teen, Coal Moore who as mentioned under his photo in Khaled's update, Nothing is know about his parents as they are not in his family tree, so maybe he was abandoned or his parents died in a tragic accident before he could walk. In any case, Coal grew up in an orphanage and then upon becoming a teenager, he decided to try and make it on his own so that other young orphans could have the same chance he did as a child. Coal decided to try and make it on his own.
After leaving the orphanage, Coal was given enough social assistance to buy a nice starter home in Copperdale so that he could be near the high school he attends. Being a vegetarian, Coal is probably one of the few children in the orphanage who never complained about eating them. He also likes to work with his hands and hopes to sell crafts, furniture or anything else he can build while in high school. Coal's first dream is complete the Goal-Orientated teen aspiration and just has to reach level three in the retail career after having lots of fun in Copperdale's drama club. Coal also has a romantic partner relationship with Tyrone's sister, Ann so I may move him and Elaina Engle (who is Tyrone's partner from high school and is waiting for her to graduate) Coal will stay with them while I'm putting together his home in Copperdale on my new laptop. That way the relationships between these sims can remain intact (I hope).
Here are some pictures of the home I built for him. Since Coal will be moving to my new Valley Orphan Sim game save, I've shared all of the rooms so that his house can be put back together unless the lot sharing issue has been resolved. It will be kind of like a house in-a-box kit, I guess.
Here is the front of the house before adding decor to the patio.
Side and back view
Side patio with outdoor cooking items and dining.
Here's the front patio with some decor. The home decor uses the Basics, Mid Century, French Country and Boho styles.
This is the entry hall with a staircase to the basement on the other side of the half-wall. The desk will probably move upstairs if and when a second floor needs to be added in the future.
Next up is the living/kitchen area done in Coal's favorite red and gray colors
This is Coal's bedroom. I used the Snowy Escape decor for wall accents but will probable refrain from using them in the future since, they can be picked up without being in build mode. I've accidentally done that several times and have had to go into build to put them back just right.
Here is the main floor bathroom. Below shows Coal making friends with his talking toilet. That can happen when Sims live alone.
This is the small bath of the downstairs hobby area. Have been trying different wall decor for accents and used the French Country signs sized smaller. It's tricky getting good pictures in small areas even with the free camera.
This is Coal's downstairs hobby room decorate in his favorite yellow & gray colors.
This part was decorated just before I finished last night's game play.
A little pumpkin carving nook behind the stairs.
I'll share the candid photos in the next posts.
Hope you all enjoy the photos and the extra ones in my previous one with Khaled. There is a also a background story for Orson & Teulia Lorford in that post.

I just finished the post after making sure it would work because I had some posting error messages in the previous one so wanted to make sure that this post would work before finishing it in edit mode.
Have also spent a lot of time sharing rooms in Khaled's and Coal's homes so that I can piece their homes back together in Orphan Valley when I make it on my new laptop. Rooms and households share alright but the gallery has something against lots at this time. Will check from time to time to see when this issue is fixed.
Khaled’s bathroom looks great! 🙂 The red, brown and grey colour scheme is very nice and vines looks great on the walls. It was great reading the background stories of the sims that you posted the pictures of. Congratulations to Khaled on his early graduation! It was caring of Khaled to cheer Tyrone up when he came visiting. I hope Tyrone achieves his dream of becoming a master actor 🙂
Khaled's bathroom, I tried using some of the wall coverings that came with the Windenburg/Get Together pack, I think. Used red and gray color scheme. Am starting to get used to the hands free camera.
Here's Khaled studying for his exams before his first class of the summer season. Due to his high grades, Khaled was able to graduate early just in time to avoid Friday's exams.
Meet two Sims from other households in Valley Ventures. On the left is Elaina Engle whose father, Edgar was part of my original Alphabet Sims. She has an alien brother, Yahir who is in grade school and two new sisters and a loving stepmother, Amelia LInton who married her father Elaina was in her early high school years. Due to a growing family, Edgar decided to sell his 'letter E' home and have a larger Shipping Container home built for him, Elaina and Yahir shortly after he was born. Edgar is glad he made the change now that Amelia has become part of the family and having two more children join the family. Since their home is finished and in my gallery, the Engle family will moving to the Elaina has a pristine reputation and should be able to make lots of new friends as she will soon be finishing high school.
The student on the right will be joining the new Valley Orphan game save since the house he started in is from my gallery. His name is Kaiden Haas and had been adopted by Maaike Haas in Valley Ventures while in her late adult life and unfortunately passed away of old age while Kaiden was still a teen so he was welcomed into my 'Orphan Sim' family. Maybe he can meet the younger version of his mother in the new game save. In this picture, Kaiden is part of the second classroom but after trying to skip class later in the summer week, he was put back into classroom one.
This is Orphan teen, Coal Moore. Nothing is know about his parents as they are not in his family tree, so maybe he was abandoned and grew up in an orphanage and then so that other young orphans could have his spot, Coal decided to try and make it on his own. He is best friends with Khaled and has a romantic interest in one of his classmates, Ann Pleasant who lives with her brother, Tyrone. Tyrone and Ann are also part of my orphan teen households after their mother, Angela Pleasant died of old age when Tyrone was still a teen and Ann was in grade school. They will be moving to Orphan Valley as well, so maybe Coal and Ann can renew their relationship then.
This is Tyrone Pleasant who came to visit Khaled and hangout. Tyrone is following his dream of becoming a Master Actor and needed some cheering up on that day and went home happier than when he came. Hopefully by the time I'm ready to move Tyrone & Ann to Orphan Valley, The sharing lots glitch will be fixed so that I don't have to keep sharing the rest of the rooms in the Sims' homes to piece together and can share the remake I did of the original Pleasant home in Britechester. At least the household and room sharing still works, though.
This picture was taken when Khaled arrived at the Oasis Springs Nightclub's Talent Night. In the photo are one of my Valley Ventures founding parents, Orson and Teulia Lorford, Orson has the purplish skin that he inherited from his alien father, Louis. Orson would be a great grandson of my second original Simself, Jan Tedford & her husband Grant (based on my real life). Guess since I didn't have children of my own, having a Sim family would do. Orson's father Louis was an alien son to Jaden (Sim Grant & Jan's eldest son) who never married but the aliens took pity on him and abducted him one day and gave him an alien son, Louis. When Louis grew up he was a scientist and married Maren Lorenz (who was one of fellow Simmer, Munterbacon's single sims). It was at this time that I was getting away from using my real name in the game, so I changed Louis & Maren's last name to Lorford which is a combination of their last names. Orson turned out not to be an alien but inherited his father's alien colored skin.
Orson met Teulia while in university who always had an aura of being depressed as she had the slouchy walk. Once he got to know her, Orson found that Teulia was a great girl under all that sadness. Over the course of their studies, Orson and Teulia fell in love and married shortly after graduation and now Orson passes his alien colored skin on to their children although a bit lighter. Since their house is finished and in my gallery they will move to my new game saves possibly as an anchor home in Valley Orphans or a continuation of Valley Ventures. Over the course of time in this game, Orson have had seven children together. Maxwell is their eldest son and now lives on his own in Del Sol Valley.
This is one of Orson & Teulia's triplet daughters, Juliette who is good friends with many of the other active teens in my game and is one of the few vegetarians.
This photo shows two of the many Lewis Sanchos sims in Valley Ventures. One is the bartender and the other is just enjoying a drink.
I will leave you with a parting shot of Khaled's final prom as a teenager where he was voted to be Prom Jester. The Sim on the left is also one of my Orphan teens, Katie Roswell who was the only child of Ted & Meredith Roswell who passed away of old age while she was still a teenager. She's on her way to becoming a Purveyor of Potions and lives in Glimmerbrook at this time but will move to Orphan Valley in a different world where she can have a larger lot to able able to buy the horse she has always wanted since Katie is a horse lover. Maybe I'll combine some of these orphan teens into one household so that they can move together. Perhaps Vivian Fancey can part ways with Ash & Luna to take some orphan teens under her wing., (Just came up with that idea) since her house is in my gallery. Vivian is good friends with Maxwell as well so he could join her. Still brainstorming, I guess. Guess that's what happens when writing or typing ideas.
Anyways, hope you all enjoy this pictures and ideas. Feel free to put any of the households that I'll be sharing during the transitioning process to my new game saves, in your games as townies and see how their lives progress on their own.
Thank you for all you've done for me since coming back to the forums. I'm working a plan I have to able to keep some of my households and Sims in new game saves on the new laptop so I won't be posting updates for awhile. I appreciate you letting me brainstorm the last couple of days about the tech issues I've been having. Since I have most of the decorated rooms in my builds in the gallery, I'll see if the game will let me upload the rooms and open spaces that have not been shared and then piece together the homes of the Sims from Valley Ventures and Silverford in new game saves on the new laptop. Until then I'll hold off from making posts in my threads until my new game saves are set up.
First of all, I should be able to move the households whose homes I was able to share in my gallery either completed or mostly completed. Since I share most of the decorated rooms in my sims homes, I just go in to share the the remaining main areas like upstairs landing areas so that I can piece the houses back together. Some may have to start over in a new house. Although I would like to keep playing all of my households, it's time to downsize them a bit. I'll try to share most of the households whether they are moved to my new game saves or not so others can used them in their new games. The only Sim from the original Jeff & Alice Fancey family who will probably not be moving is their eldest daughter, Vivian.
Vivian lives with her two best friends, Ash Harjo & Luna Villareal in Valley Ventures since Ash and Luna are the only ones still alive from their game families due to the long lifespan and only aging active households. Not sure if I should share the household to the gallery or not because of the original games Sims being a part of it. Although I suppose simmers could add them to their games after the original Ash & Luna have passed on due to accidental deaths or old age. Just not sure how the 'original by' works in the gallery or is something that is automatically done when tagging a creator and/or an original game Sim. The house I built for Vivian is in my gallery so her sister Alice could live in that one with her husband Yuuseke and their young children.
Once enough households from the game saves on my old lap top, the others will probably be retired and like I usually say when a game save ends, live happily ever after so-to-speak. Nova Curious' household from her scenario will not be joining my new games so that I don't have so many Lewis Sancho sims running around in the game. They are currently in my Valley Ventures save and it seems that once one dies in an accident or something have a dozen more take his place. I've read that this happens with Nova's scenario.
That said, I think I'll just share the candid photos from my visit with Khalid Choukri who graduated early and will be ready to age up when he's moved to the new Valley Orphan save on my new laptop. Some of the pictures include Sims from other Valley Ventures households and will introduce them as I go. For now, I'll take a break from sharing stories in my threads until everything is set up in my new laptop.
Last night, I started the of the Alphabet Sim series from a few years ago starting with a new 'letter B' household where each original family member's first and last name begins with B and have traits, aspirations and favorites (if possible or not chosen randomly). Will introduce them below. They will be living in my original 'Shades of Brown' capital B shaped house in Windenburg. Plan to revamp the build and redecorate according to their favorites and refurnish to bring the build up-to-date with the packs I have.
Anyways I'll get back to my threads once the respective game saves are set up in the new laptop. Valley Orphans will probably continue but may combine Valley Ventures and Silverford Valley into one save and have a new thread for my 'Alphabet Sims' called 'Alphabet Acres'.
Hope you enjoy these ideas and look forward to just using my new laptop. Until then enjoy pictures of Khaled's bathroom and candid photos below.
It was sad that Khaled’s mother passed away whilst rock climbing 😢His Forgotten Hollow home is lovely! Very nice furnishing of each room and great room designs. The black, white and purple colours are very nice. The hobby area in the basement is great! He would enjoy spending time there.
Hope you're all having a Tenderhearted Tuesday (aka terrific). Here are some pictures of one of my Orphan Teens in Valley Ventures and his house.
Khaled Choukri was just a teenager when his mother was killed in a tragic accident when she fell while rock climbing in Mt Komrebi. I decided to add him to the Orphan Sim households and help him follow his dreams of becoming a Nerd Brain and anything else he wants to do. He loves the outdoors and despite being a bit gloomy from time-to-time (who wouldn't be after losing a parent), Khaled has made lots of friends and now has a 'pristine' reputation. I built him a nice starter home in Forgotten Hollow using his favorite styles, Patio, Garden, Vintage, Storybook and Basics. Will try to get better pictures of the bathroom during today's game play.
The first three pictures show his open kitchen/living room. The candle lighting makes the room look a little on the darker side.
Master bedroom
The small bedroom/bath hallway. There's a spare room to the right for whenever another Sim joins his household.
Although Khaled doesn't know it, he likes 'Events' decor as well but it's not listed in the CAS preferences but should since it's in build mode.
These two photos show the back hallway from the kitchen archway. As you can see in the next photo there's space to put a staircase to a second floor if needed for a growing family in the future.
Next we have Khaled's hobby area in the basement. There is also space for a future bedroom and bath.
The lighted shelves are for the small collectibles that Khaled may find over the course of time.
Thanks again for your help but I think I'll wait until uploading lots to the gallery works again and continue with my current game saves. Since sharing households still works, I'll just share them for now to gallery and build new houses for them if needed. May end up starting fresh on the new laptop with new Sims, giving some of the older households in my gallery a chance to have their stories told along with any that I can bring over to the new games saves as founders. Just have to remember that it's just a game and that nothing lasts forever.
With that said, I'll probably put a pause on my writing until things get set up on the new laptop. In the meantime I'll share some photos of my Orphan teen, Khaled Chourki and the house I built for him in a post below.
Hope you're having a 'Tremendous Tuesday'. While working for a local building supply store for a year and a half, I used to a variety of different positive words or phrases other than 'Have a nice day' when serving customers to brighten their days until my boss told me that I couldn't use them anymore so I decided to share them here to help everyone in your thread have a brighter day.
