#BnS168 - Winterfest Market
The deadline for this challenge is 31 December 2022
Those of you who have been around for a while may remember Whimsyville, our last Sims 4 neighborhood challenge.
This is a scaled-down version of that, with only one phase: Community lots. Specifically, community lots geared toward holiday shopping. Any holiday you like so long as it’s winter themed - Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Ramadan, anything else you can think of or invent. Use your creativity.
Please read through the entire list of possible buildings before picking one to build. Then post which building you would like to build. First post gets the building - please look at the list of claimed buildings in the front-page post AND the current posts in the thread requesting a build before posting a claim. Once the sign-up period has ended, and you have completed your build; you can always pick a second one to do and claim it. If there is enough interest, a second, residential phase may happen.
Due to the community nature of this challenge, there will be no judging or podium awards given.
THE BRIEF
We are going to use Newcrest for all of our community lots - specify which Newcrest lot you built on in your entry form
Since every lot has very different needs, the budget is unlimited
Each community lot needs some parking space and landscaping
Use any size lot that makes sense for your build. Note that since Twin Oracle Point is so large, it can be multipurpose.
Feel free to propose your own community building type if one of the listed ones doesn’t strike your fancy

ENTRY DETAILS: This is an old fashioned toyshop just in time for winterfest .There's loads of toys of every kind and a place to visit Father Winterfest. Wonderful for those who like retail. All set up to make simoleons with items set for sale. In the back is a gazebo, party area, ice skate rink, and more! There's an upstairs bedroom and kitchenette for the owners if they want to live there.

ENTRY DETAILS:
I built this as a cosy place that Sims can spend their Winterfest holiday at. There is a private dining room for larger groups to dine in. There is even an ice-skating rink for Sims to work off their Winterfest Grand Meals! If your Sims are running this restaurant, they can also take a break and rest in the owner’s suite.

The Winterfest Flower Shop is ready to start your holiday season off right! In addition to the assortment of plants and flowers, there is a small coffee bar on the second floor to get caffeinated or enjoy some hot cocoa in the snow on the porch outside. On the third floor, customers can watch flower arranging and trimming in action! All flowers are grown right on the property in the small greenhouse out back. Parking is available in the rear.

ENTRY DETAILS: I decided to make my clothing store look like an old department store. It is decorated with a glamourous vintage style, using plenty of gold and white with many Christmas decorations displayed inside and outdoors as well. There is parking in the back but I have added an underground parking garage for those sims who don't want to deal with the cold weather. There is a security office, as well as an owners office in case there are some long nights at the store. When you enter the store there is a large Christmas tree surrounded by gifts that people have donated for those less fortunate. When you head up to the second level there is a place to get your picture taken with Santa/Father Winter. This floor is also where you will find children's and men's clothing as well. The third floor is exclusive to women's fashion. Each floor has small change rooms to try on an outfit you may be interested in buying.

The family also sells decorations for inside and outdoors. Books about the legends and stories of Winterfest? Sure, the Oldman's keep those in stock! A giant toy train will keep the kiddies occupied while you find that perfect tree for your perfect Winterfest! Come check out our discounted prices!

Note:
The Sims birthday (February 4, 2000) is my Holiday! I used lots of Sims colors and plumbobs! Perfect for an electronics store!
February is still in the winter, but we're starting its 23rd birthday party early, so it fits the brief!

ENTRY DETAILS: I made my grocery store like the modern self contained small ones near where I live and not a big chain store. I tried to provide a range of things that would be helpful to gameplay eg. simple living ingredients, preprepared meals and high skill level cooking / baking items. Stacking the shelves and placing the items took forever. I wish Grocery stores were their own type of lot with shopping trolleys and sims able to buy multiple things in a shop.

ENTRY DETAILS:I made my Bakery 2 stories. One floor dedicated to the bakery, the second has an expresso area, nectars, and and outdoor area to use weather permitting. There is a fully functional kitchen down stairs and a cupcake maker upstairs. Lovely Holiday Decorations throughout

ENTRY DETAILS: I made my grocery store like the modern self contained small ones near where I live and not a big chain store. I tried to provide a range of things that would be helpful to gameplay eg. simple living ingredients, preprepared meals and high skill level cooking / baking items. Stacking the shelves and placing the items took forever. I wish Grocery stores were their own type of lot with shopping trolleys and sims able to buy multiple things in a shop.

ENTRY DETAILS:I made my Bakery 2 stories. One floor dedicated to the bakery, the second has an expresso area, nectars, and and outdoor area to use weather permitting. There is a fully functional kitchen down stairs and a cupcake maker upstairs. Lovely Holiday Decorations throughout
