Sims 4 Seasons/weather:
Natural disasters:
I like what @Tornadoduhboy2u2 suggested about the tornado could send your sim to a wizard of Oz-like world. So I thought of some other ideas the natural disasters could do.
Tornado:
If your sim gets caught into a tornado you might end up in a wizard of Oz-like world or it can send them to the grave, lol.
Hurricane or Flooding:
If your sim gets caught in the waves or the waters of a flood, they could fall into a cyclone and transport to a different world you have installed in your game or get eaten alive by sharks.
****Earthquake:
I can't think of anything, but I'll let everyone else come up with something. Maybe some unimaginable silly place the sim gets transported to and or of course they can get trapped in a crack and die.
Weather-related jobs:
Thrill-seekers who have a passion for the weather will get to develop weather and climate reports and report them on tv by using charts, graphs and computer software as well as up-close-and-personal experience and photographs of tornadoes, rain storms, floods, hurricanes and other natural phenomena. They will work at a weather station and have their own lab, similar to scientists. In addition, they will own a doppler, weather balloon and weather radar machine.
The weather will have an affect on your sim’s mood
Sims can check on the weather (today, weeks forecast, natural disaster) through their tv, newspaper or they will surprisingly find out if they forget.
Sims can make rain catchers for plants or maybe they want to be more homestead to have their own water to drink
Sims can put on sunscreen or tanning lotion or sun burn
Sims can have pollen allergies (indoor or outdoor)
Sims can sweat from heat
warm to hot temperatures
Late night crickets

Windy; leaves blowing in the air (el nino; la nina(can mean colder winter)) don’t let the wind carry you

Wild pumpkin growing
Birds flying south
Flu
Plants begin to die. Time to harvest
Chilly to frigid
Wind chill
Frostbite
Winter flu
Sore throat
Light to blizzard snow conditions (low visibility)
Icey ground

Wonderful ideas I see it said the many points
And also activities in the summer:
Building sand castles at the beach
Windsurfing
Riding a jet ski
Diving and search for valuable things
Availability of foods carts to sell ice cream and juice (drinks) and refreshing snacks

I fully support this also! I especially love the idea of having my sims being swarmed by bees (or better: having my sims prank others by unleashing angry bees on them). I also love the vacation ideas for school/university aged sims! I wanted that badly in Sims 3, it was so annoying to me that festivals would come around and my child/teen sims could only go during the weekends, because there wasn't enough time during weekdays to get everything done (after school) AND still go to enjoy everything at the festival. They at least deserve a break during summer!

seasons system should be in a free update since it's such a basic and dominant factor in real life. it should have been in the base game in my opinion. but of course they would never do it..if they did i think all simmers from all around the world would explode from happiness and it would make everybody respect more the creators and not say all the time that they never create what we want anymore. it would seriously be a huge gift for us all. But back to reality, maybe make this all a game pack? ;) :D

I absolutely love the idea for Weather person/Storm Chaser. I live in a small (nearly rural) community and we actually have a group of Storm Chasers that get all the footage for the news and such. Probably bigger areas do too, but I've only ever seen them in small towns like this one. :D It'd be neat. Though its the sims so I sorta see something like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz happening where you can get plum up into a tornado and land in OZ :P hehe

Coming back to this thread, just because I had an idea.
I'd love if they implemented air conditioners/heaters/fans into the game!
During summer months, when it gets too hot outside, sims could really benefit from an air conditioner (or fan, if they can't afford it). Otherwise, they sweat and have negative moodlets from being too darn hot. An air conditioner could cool them down, so you don't have to complete 2849249242 interactions to cool them down (like in TS3, when you had to put them in the pool and all that). Fans would help, but they'd probably want to save up for an air conditioner. There could be different types of air conditioners; like ones that cool the entire house, or one that cools a single room. Then for AC's and fans alike, there could be heap ones that break too easily, or expensive ones that are reliable and really cool them down.
During the winter, heaters would be nice! Same concept with air conditioners.
Plus little side interactions so the AC's and fans have more than one purpose. Children sims blowing into the fans (y'know that robot voice that we all did as children), pets (if we ever get them) playing around on the equipment, sims complaining about the settings ("It's too cold in here!" "It's too hot!"). Little things like that.
Probably never gonna happen, of course, but one can dream.

Which is why they need to add favorites, So sims can have a Favorite weather, Which could calm sims down form extreme emotional states. winding them down to the Default "Fine" emotion.
I love Blizzards Storms and Sun showers these two types of weather make me calm/excited.
What I really want out of this is, How snow accumulated in the Sims 3, I really loved that sims stood, knee deep in snow, and small animals got essentially buried.
I also want a survival aspect.
Storms cutting out power. refrigerator stops keeping food cool, only candles and lanterns for light sources.
In the summer time, the air condition could bust.
winter time the furnace could bust too. making sims result to fireplaces, wood/gas stoves.
pipes could freeze so no water, no showering.
Snow piling up, so sims can't leave their lot, trapping the player and the sims on the lot they're at... or forcing them home.

Drinking hot coco to warm up after being outside in wintertime.
Overheating when you wear warm clothes in the summer and hypothermia when you go out in the snow in your swimsuit.
Heavy storms which can keep you awake at night and damage your house of garden.
Holidays like Christmas, easter and halloween, just like TS3.
Two new vacation destinations:
- a snow/winter location where you can go icefishing, spent the night in an iglo and do wintersports
- a summer/exotic location where you can chill on the beach, swim in the ocean, go on a cruise, go surfing and visit a waterpark.
