Starting in fall with potatoes under the sheltered area works really well. I did move the planter out slightly.
After planting the potatoes (thank you for the starter potatoes!) Cyrus got a job as an astronaut and started building the rocket. Playing chess as a career task he quickly gained logic skill.
I will post more later but right now I need a nap! :wink:

I've saved this (both here and on TSCC) so that I can come back to it. For now, two builds and a couple other challenges/legacies that I'm deep in the middle of need to be worked on. :smiley:

After a full rotation of the seasons on Acidalia Planitia Cyrus was officially promoted to astronaut. On his next promotion he will need to decide to become a Space Ranger or Interstellar Smuggler. {The real choice is Apollo Rocket Ship or Retro Rocketship}
The potatoes started slow a planter under a sheltered area in the fall. Cyrus had to do some research on gardening in general and cultivating potatoes in particular. It was still slow going when winter arrived but the potatoes (a winter crop) finally started to improve.
It took a while but he achieved top scores (level 10/skill max) in logic, rocket science, handiness and gardening.
Cyrus does have a small secret ;)

Looks like you've made great progress EQ! Wow!

I have had a lot of trouble getting my plants to evolve. After chatting with EQ a bit, we've decided to make a few improvements on the lot.

I added two planter boxes with a growfruit each. These can be used for fertilizer only. No munching!

Doors and walls were added at the front and back of the joined roof sections to try and help keep visitors at bay (V L A D)

You may plant any Simax/UFO plants on your lot and use them as fertilizer. These can not be eaten by sims.

The better your sim's fertilizer, the better the results.
