I learned it the hard way, but use the windows key + V. If you do that before starting to write. Your computer can at least save 25 things you copied and pasted. Because I didn't do that sooner and windows doesn't save things from the beginning, I couldn't recover anything I lost. At least now, I have things I copied saved on my clipboard.
The fact that I had to enable this feature is extremely frustrating. If it was saving things, I wouldn't have lost everything on my clipboard.
For posting in this forum, I highly recommend a document copy and turning on the save feature of the clipboard. The auto save here is extremely unreliable right now.
You can "Select All" and periodically copy everything. Probably more reliable then both the document and the web page. At least, it can be more efficient.
